Now that the game is somewhat forcing us to become vampires, can we have a hide vampirism skin? All these stamina and magika sustain issues will be introduced in the next patch and vampirism will help with the sustain of both magika and stamina... causing min/maxers to flock to get vampirism

a few months ago I suggested an addition to the ingame options or crown store and it sorta died once it was moved to the crown store section. vampirism is ugly and ruins the appearance of many of my characters, lore wise it makes sense to be able to hide your vamparism, take count verandis for example who is able to hide his vamparism. I would really like to earn the ability to hide my vampirism (rank 10 vampire reward perhaps?) Or if it I would buy it as soon as it came out if available in the crown store, would you?

Console and pc will see default buff trackers now so you will be able to tell if a person is a vampire now behind their costume and armors so those who say "no you get a curse you deal with the consequesces... plus you need it to tell whose a vampire in pvp" your arguments are now invalidated in a balance perspective with the new buff trackers and if you continue saying so you shouldn't have a say on what other ppl present themselves... lore wise count verandis in rivenspire can hide his vampirism so the time is now...

Tldr

Buff trackers will tell you if a person is a vampire behind costumes, morphs and skins so you cant argue it is unbalanced for pvp and lore supports a hide vampirism skin... the reward skins are ugly so don't even try to say that is good enough

Edit:

Nope, several people have asked for a hide vampirism skin... I have refused to become a vampire on my non argonian and khajiit characters because of how awful it looks compared to other TES games... Why should I have to use a skin i don't like in order to hide a skin i don't like? Sorry but RP is a part of this mmoRPg and its important to us rpers and others to look how we like. Look at how popular appearances are to other people? how many people are asking for a transmog system to hide their hideous monster set armor and have to settle for generic costumes... Min/maxers shouldn't be punished with looking ugly. if you wanna keep vampirism on or wear a skin i wont stop you, but don't insult me and say i should be content with the lack of a hide vampirism costume.

I said "go get it" because not everyone has access to the skin. Not everyone has the required DLCs, and not everyone is capable of completing what is needed for the skins.

I just want to say I completely agree. The only way for me to hide vampirism is the costumes you get from quests (seadrake, crown dishdasha, forebear etc.) and yes, I use them all the time. Even tho my armor looks amazing I'll stick with the costumes on certain characters. And that "enemy players in pvp needs to know if you're a vampire." That's just bs. As OP mentioned, any bufftracker will show if someone is a cursed/gifted one. Btw, if you look away from bufftrackers there is no way to tell if a player is a werewolf or not (unless he/she transforms). No one in pvp changes their skills if their opponent is a cursed/gifted one. Ooh a vampire? Let me change to fire!!

I spent quite a long time in character creation to make my character the way I want it, why ruin her/him? My skills shouldn't affect my character cosmetically. This is only affecting how appealing I find my characters.

Edit; typos and added 'this is only affecting..."

For example, there are a ton of great fur patterns for a Khajiit. Too bad none of these will be used by a vampire Khajiit at all. Now that is what I call a "flawless design". What an utter bs move by Zos. Would understand it to some point IF we weren't shown in the very game that some vampires are more than capable of hiding their real nature.

Tbh, if they would make a recipe to hide vampirism, I would craft that crap and sell it to the hordes of vampires we will have when Morrowind goes live.

Like @Runschei said, you can use disguises to hide vampirism.

But then you are still limited to choose between the costumes that actually hides all skin. I want to run in my pretty dress without looking like I tripped in flour. Why hide in a costume when you could just hide the skin itself? Not saying ALL vampires MUST hide their skin. The idea is for those who WANTS to hide it should have the option to do so. Others can run around white as chalk, but I don't want that.

No, I do have the achievement vampirism master and have done all the questing content which I'm sure takes place throughout years in the timeline so my character has had time to perfect my vsmparism... plus Lamae bal mentions kings and peasants who hide among mortals... lore

I think there is an epidemy of vampirism and lycanthropy... Hircine and Molag Bal will be glad.

Maybe some people choose that infection to roleplay that. I see it a good thing. BUT many many players get infected only to fit in a powerful build...

If you choose to be vampire, you must look like one. That's fair.
