Why not remove proc sets and cost poisons and see what happens? From my perspective, those marked a tipping point in terms of balance.

I'll be playing no matter what ends up happening. If the PTS changes stick, there will be sets and builds that compensate for whatever has been lost. It will just take time to learn what works and grind out new gear.

But it would seem easier to start with proc sets and poisons instead of making so many class changes at one time.

I don't think people are upset with sustain being nerfed across the board, they are upset that key skills, buffs and utility of certain classes are being removed but are accessible to the warden. Why can't multiple classes be strong? Zos rely too heavily on nerfing classes to make up for the broken CP system.

I can't see them being willing to remove stuff that they recently paid their staff to develop and add to the game. It's like asking an artist to scrap what they just spent the last 6 months coming up with. I would like to see the new destro passive removed instead of them decimating regen, both would have a similar end result but removing the passive would still leave you with build options. But because the destro passive is new and shiny there's not much point even suggesting it. Next patch the 8% damage buff you get from just slotting a fire staff will be factored into everyones' magicka builds, you'll be severly gimped without it. They give in large chunks in one patch and take away in large chunks from somewhere else the very next patch. All the while taking away choice, variety and skilled play. Good job zos.

So I guess the logical choice is to adapt. There will be new sets and new synergies will emerge through theorycrafting. I hope so at least. Despite all the changes over the years (many of which I've been upset about) I still play because it's the best MMO out there.

On console it is the only MMO. If ESO is the best MMO that speaks very poorly for the genre as a whole, it is mechanically very simplified (there are only 3 attributes) and it leans too heavily on rng.

Correction. On XB1 it's the only MMO. PS4 has Final Fantasy as well
