Any thoughts on this after the patch notes? Supposedly the cost increase is being reduced to 20%.

It seems like it was designed as a Magblade set, but with the changes to Siphoning Attacks, I don't know how we will be able to not run ourselves out of resources using it.

Now, to change it into a lightning staff...

I like to use it for my magDK that uses heavy attack Lightning, and Power Lash when they are off balance. The only thing I use magicka for is for Blockade, Eruption, and Ward. But you can start your Eruption and your first Blockade before starting Kena, then since it is ground AOE once you do have Kena up the damage will go up for Eruption and Blockade. Just watch out for bosses that won't go off balance.
