I've been driving the max resource - you should just heavy attack more - train for years now. Ironically yesterday I finally reached 50k magic on my Templar and then the patch drops simultaneously kneecapping most of your resource recovery builds. I'm here to let you know it's okay and you can overcome this. Just do what I do. Dump every conceivable thing into your favorite resource and increase your heavy attacking. Pretty simple right? If you just jab your opponents with heavy attacks then when the fighting gets dirty you'll have a ton more of your favorite resource available.
Yes, I understand this might require you to put a staff or bow on your back bar. It's a small price to pay for survival in Cyrodiil.
Oh, and this was directed at PVP. If you're a PVE only player ... well ... you've already run the same dungeon 986,497 times anyway. You'll figure it out.
