Should there be different CP allocations for PvE and PvP?

Hey guys!

So I saw a post asking what peoples dedicated PvE and PvP characters are, and realized the only reason my main doesnt go to cyrodill much is because he would need a huge CP adjustment to be optimal there.

I was wondering what you guys think, should they allow different CP allocations depending on instance? Discuss!

    You can redistribute your CP at will for 3k gold.

    Not sure what you're asking.

    Like, you want it to be automatic?

    I redistribute my CP all the time for different trials and pvp etc ...

    The question is: do you want the ability to seperate your PvE and PvP CP allocations and Skill Point allocations?

    Imagine your DK Tank is set up for vet trials tanking. You have to spec into hardy and elemental defender among other things. That leaves no room for the crit resistance passive, which is really good in PvP, while the hardy and elemental defender CP points are not as effective.

    I am asking if you want to have two seperate builds if you will, think dual spec back when that was introduced into world of warcraft, except it changes only under certain conditions (ie PvE and PvP instances).

    Redistribution is 100% possible, we all know this. I am asking if, because in PvP you will want far different morphs, CP points, and skills, people want to be able to NOT have to redistribute CP points and Skills for maximum effectiveness in PvP.

    At this point, I'd prefer PvP just used separate classes like MP in DA:I so we could have less chaos.

    Yea, then no ...

    for one you aren't really using just 2 "builds" Theres multiple configurations of CP for each different trial / dungeon, and for different PvP contexts ... so you're going to be swapping them around anyway. So having 2 specs is not particularly useful.

    and for another, it would require a massive amount of work on the part of the devs and lead to inevitable bugginess swapping specs on the fly. I think the devs' time is better spent addressing existing issues rather creating a whole host of new ones.
