I think since Morrowind is a major release it will be the exception..
There's still the problem that console patches need the extra time for a validation cycle... it would be silly to delay pc patches for the same amount of time for no other reason...

That's not an actual issue, and I don't know why people keep briniging it up (I mean that respecfully--not trying to start an argument). See: DCUO and FFXIV. Most PC/ console games receive day and date patches now. Even for non-MMORPGs such as Dark Souls.

It is because pc games generally get the patch held back. ESO does not
