Dual Lightning Staffs - Ilambris vs Slimecraw?

I never use slimecraw ... and I'm on console so can't parse specifically- but alot of PC parses I've seen show ilambris is doing around 8-10% of your DPS - correct me if that's wrong. And that's generally with lightning and fire staff.

So I'm wondering if you're running solo or without a magDK - and you're running dual lightning staffs (lower uptime on dual element ilambris procs) - could slimecraw's flat 8% damage buff outperform ilambris?

edit: Also curious about it's effect with dual infernos.

In trials with magdk I run dual infernos since I have a moondancer inferno, but no good vma staffs ... so I go rando inferno back bar, Moondancer front bar.

Nah Ilambris is usually 5% from the parses I've seen. The 8-10% must've been back when it could crit.

But Slimecraw is useless due to the fact that your healers are applying Combat Prayer anyway for that same buff. As long as you're using Force Pulse, you should be using Ilambris

aaah I just realized yea it's minor beserk, same as combat prayer, not just a flat % ... yea makes sense

I would be interested to see dps test results with both sets to see the difference.

Solo its no question though. If you're not getting combat prayer then slimecraw drastically outperforms ilambris(single target) when you're not proc'ing the fire proc, as long as you've got enough cleave to kill adds.

You're basically asking if half of ilambris is better than a flat 8% damage buff and I can't see it contributing that much to your damage unless you've got really really sub-par DPS or you need the extra aoe damage to kill adds.

Again, all of this is for solo, in a group setting where you have combat prayer or on a nightblade slime is 100% pointless.

Ilambris also has extra DPS in the 1-piece. So parsing just the proc isn't it's total contribution

Ran a few different sets to test just to see ... ilambris wins every time.
I think the elemental damage passive, and a couple other factors just makes ilambris bis no matter the conditions for ranged mag dps.

I could be wrong though. This is just what I've tested ...
