Any way to copy normal ESO install to Steam install on another computer?

I very, very much want someone to try ESO with me but he has a terribly slow internet connection and it would take at least 24hrs to download through Steam.
Is there any way to copy my normal version of ESO over to his computer and have Steam overwrite it (without having to download the whole thing again)? (I know this works as a migration option for the normal game, and it's how I moved ESO over to a new computer).
Help pls!

The problem is I need to take a NON steam game and get Steam to recognise it as a Steam download, which is something I can't find information about.
Otherwise, yes, I could just copy a Steam folder from one computer to another. However, I don't have the Steam version of ESO tho.

Bear in mind that you need the right name for the game folder to get steam recognise it, also I didn't complete the download as I was only testing it, so you may need to download a couple gigs through the game launcher.1
