I freaking love it.

I've always played generally subpar classes; StamBlad at PC launch, then StamPlar upon my return to the game 4 months ago.

I decided to roll a MagDK yesterday, 1h/shield build and I'm having a blast.

It's honestly sad that my other characters felt nowhere near this powerful, but hopefully someday they will. Until then I've found my new main.

I'm CP340~. At level 10 I threw on Julianos and went to Cyrodiil. I was beating CP600's. Is the level scaling that powerful or do I just seemingly have a great build for once? lol

Level scaling scales, it doesn't boost you far ahead. And it certainly doesn't fire off your skills for you, or move, block and dodge when need be. You're allowed to take credit for you actions and success.

The scaling can actually boost your stats providing you are wearing appropriate leveled gear.

Yes the scaling assumes you wear junk gear at low levels so if you wear crafted sets you have an benefit.

Lvl 10? Did you use Dragons blood or healing ward and how did you combo with no procs for dps boost? Seems as if you ran into some new pvp's or your build is somehow magical. Either way welcome to the DK life; once you're in it you never go back!

Stam DK since launch and morrowwind will be our patch ;)

I went straight from playing a stamina nightblade, to playing a magicka dragonknight, and the difference is HUGE. (PvE.) The stamina nightblades in PvE are so underpowered it's ridiculous.
Yeah, I'm loving playing my dragonknight.

Neither. Burning embers is my heal. My DPS came from Julianos and Silks of the Sun.

mag DK in PvE is a ton of fun and very effective; good survivability and hreat damage.. In PvP it can still be a ton of fun, but very frustrating compared to other classes.

Yes, but the point is it doesn't fight for you. It doesn't matter how boosted you are if you don't know what you're doing. There have been so many examples of this.

Compared to what other classes?! lol The only thing that beats me is other MagDK's. Good, MagPlars give me a run for my money occasionally so far.

DK is the only class I can't seem to get into. I don't know why. Something about it. I play it for a bit and then lose interest. I want to play it, but I can't. Maybe I just haven't really found a good combination for it in terms of skills and gear.

I play mine with 1h/shield, magicka based, Resto backbar. The skills, to me, go together so well. I feel like they really put a lot of thought into the class and the way things mesh.

I have seen a MagDK right around the 400 CP wrecked another 600 CP in dueling, consecutively. MagDK has some mad skillsets (Talons, Noxious Breath, Whip etc..), and it really comes down to who is faster to engage a trap, fracture and spamming a damage inducing attack or attacks. Also, with CP, depends on the distribution, it is not much more advantageous in PvP/dueling with a couple hundreds apart; especially, if a toon is using heavy set like Black Rose or something against another light or medium build that may have lesser resistance or lesser healing/shield abilities. Hell, I kept getting wrecked by a NB who kept using that damn Ambush, invisibly/Shadow, fracture and poison shot while stealth, then spamming Killer Blade. Well, I do the same with my StamBlade. Ha ha

There is no way you crit hit high numbers on a heavy armour build with 2 power lashes that killed them. I can stand there on my stam dk and vigor heal almost all flame lash hits without even blocking.

2 heavy 5 light with only burning embers heal? Still seems unrealistic to me especially nice you said half your gear is training gear.
