Pledge: Darkshade II

Noob question here..

But.. I completely get my a$$ handed to me in about 5 seconds after running down this dungeon.

Is this place meant for groups or some kind of high rank character?

It's located in Deshaan... I picked up the quest somehow.. can't remember how.

the undaunted quest when you first join them is just to enter the cave not complete it. yes you are correct it is made for groups. its a 4 man dungeon.

edit: didnt realize you said "pledge" that is for the daily dungeon, but yes that's for 4 people as well. you get those everyday from wayrest or elden root or... im drawing a blank on EPs main city.. mournhold!

Do it on Normal. You can queue in the party menu. Vet is a bit tougher and you might need better gear for it and can come back there later on! On normal you can still complete your pledge, however you will only get 1 key.

Its a 4 man dungeon and if you are low level then no you have no chance to solo it.

Uhm, yea, Group Dungeons are meant for Groups. If you see a + sign on the door or the map icon, it's a group dungeon.

It is possible to solo some group dungeons, but they really are meant for 4 players.

You got the quest from the Undaunted Pavillion more than likely. Its a place just outside the Capital Gates where you see a lot of players standing around shooting off skills or dueling as they wait for a group to form.

I get this quest from starting the Undaunted?

And they gave it to me to complete as a 4 man group?

I do have a "key" in my inventory... dont know what its for though.

There are three chests in the tent! The key is for one of those. Each have different shoulder sets. If you do complete a Vet one you will get a helmet guaranteed at the end. If they match they can give you bonuses in stats or mini skill procs.

Even by themselves. They give a little bonus these special monster sets.

Yes, the undaunted pledge dailies are for 4 man groups. The quest is to complete the dungeon, but the dungeon generally needs 4 people to complete (good players can defeat with fewer, but most run with 4 people).

Upon completion you get keys which you can use to unlock the chests in the undaunted camp to get monster set shoulders. You got one free key when you first joined the undaunted.

Not from starting them you don't get pledges.You get invited to do Pledges at L45.

The Starting quest for the Undaunted just requires you to poke your head in the entrance of 1 of 3 Group Dungeons, talk to an NPC and then leave.
