I am trying to change the existing mapping of "Map"from "M"to something like Shift+M as I am used to earlier.

But looks like this is not possible in PC game client as it accepts only one button or mouse press....

Is "button combination"not possible in ESO ?

    Don't press them at the same time. Just pressing both at the same time seems to only grab one of them but if you hold shift down and press M while it is held down, then it should recognize Shift-M. At least that works for me.

    I am sad to say that this is not working. :(

    I tried holding Shift and then pressed M but still takes only the latest keypress which is M

    Its kinda weird :(

    As a warning having multiple button binds on ESO either doesn't work or is a PITA.

    As the game takes the actions of the modifier keys as well. So if you're walking and push your map macro you'll sprint for a second as well.

    I had CRTL + Key for something once and it just made me crouch all the time.

    IIrc I saw an addon on esoui that allows you to do such bindings. Never tried it and can't recall it's name. But I will search for it later.

    Edit: Ha, found it right after the post, "Emacs". But I can't tell if it works or not.

    I can confirm that after installing the addon Emacs I am able to do macros.
    They work perfectly fine :)

    Also I strongly recommend installing Minion 3 app which automatically installed the Emacs for me.

    Good to know, been considering something like this for the character window mapping. Always manage to hit 'c' at some point in battle while trying to use a synergy :)

    I can confirm this addon does what you are looking to do, op. I use the addon.

    TESO needs a wardrobe system badly. Something similar to WoW's tmog system would make this game one of the best mmorpg out there!

    To get Shift + M to work without an addon, just make sure your mouse pointer is in the little window, then multiple keys will be recognized. It's kind of like old Xterm windows in Unix, mouse in the house.

    One of the side keys on my mouse is defaulted to use my ultimate and crouch at the same time, lol.
