Hello everyone!

Below is my personal method of making sustainable gold in ESO, for a long time now, and I hope that there will be at least some of you that will learn something new or benefit from this crafting guide.

whats the best motif to get on each extra crafter? i liked this video, it was common sense but honestly but seen busy making alts/running trials/vma/pvping that i didnt bother making more crafters but since i've got 8 50's why not. might just start with blacksmith/clothing/woodworking at first.

and are the survey maps worth it

Really awesome guide @LegendaryMage. Though I recommend the Reapers March city for completing writs as everything is very close together.

    I can't tell you, it's a secret. :)

Don't worry about it, some are slower than others. ;)

Thanks, glad you liked it! The best motifs to go for first would be the cheaper ones in terms of pages. To complete a book that counts toward master writs but doesn't cost too much. The basic blue alliance ones are easy to learn and use (style stones), but they don't count (as far as I know) towards master writs and improving your chances of getting them.

They're still dirt cheap and useful when it comes to managing style stones and making sure you can utilize them all on each character. That's why I learned them, plus achievements might or might not count, because ZOS. :)

The surveys are worth it, especially clothing and blacksmithing. Clothing because ancestor silk is more pricey nowadays, and blacksmithing because everyone wants those alloys.

Woodworking is nice too, alchemy so-so, there aren't any provisioning and generally enchanting is a waste of riding time unless you get lucky sometimes and get 3-4 kutas like I did a few times, but even then I often decon those when I'm lazy to go get them.

Thank you, glad you liked it as well! I used to do it there but went out of there because in prime time (at least back then) it used to be ultra crowded and simply logging in and clearing textures would take ages. I think craglorn is a good second alternative, at least there's less of zoning in and loading screens. :)

Ah so did you buy a bunch of cheap motifs per extra crafter? Hmm. Thanks

Seems like belkarth is the way to go since thats where you turn in the quests so why bother crafting elsewhere. And yeah I was debating alchemy on each character for the extra duration but also for the writs but if they're not worth it once these anniv boxes go maybe I'll hold off until I'm comfortable

any updated addon for mass deconstruction? see some but not updated this year. - NVM Mass Deconstructor still works even though out of date, using that + postmaster to mass loot mail and mass decon hehe

Yeah, I'd say Belkarth is the best overall. Alchemy I'm still doing it because plant surveys can be nice when collected in mass, and the rewards aren't so good, but if you do it on 8 chars it all adds up, and also the gold for turning in quests. 600 gold here, there, everywhere and before you know it, it becomes worth it. :)

I'm not sure about decon add-ons, there's got to be something out there I guess.

So do you research traits on every character, more traits/motifs increases master writ chance right?

Yeah but you have to know the whole collection, individual pages won't help. Traits help too. I don't plan to research all of them on all other chars, but maybe up to 4-5 or so (before it begins to require too much time).

Slowly researching traits on all the characters, rarely getting writs to drop so far. Feels like a waste man.jpeg but going to keep chugging traits and filling motifs on every character when I can. Had a few guildies say they get multiple writs a day so that was somewhat inspiring. Me I havent seen one in a few days.

It's RNG, the other day I got a 245 blacksmithing one, bunch of woodworking/clothing and alchemy/enchanting pretty much every day almost. So it's RNG, it works great for some players, and not so great for others.

More aptly stated: RNG, it works for a tiny fraction of players, not so much for the vast majority. That's the nature of RNG... just ask any casino.

Thanks, just got all 8 maxed out on research trait and chugging out traits left and right. Feel like a machine lol. Gotta keep my bank stocked with trait items =P Gonna start buying up motifs.
