It's worth mentioning that pets summoned by monster helms (Maw of the Infernal is the only example I can think of offhand) also activate Necropotence.Hi, the Necropotence sets refers to combat pets only, so the two you summon as a magsorc and the shade if you are a NB I believe. (unsure if Ultimates turn Necro on but it's unlikely you would run Necro without a skill pet)
The non combat pets are PURELY cosmetic. Both ones you bought or unlocked in game. And it's those that are disabled (like momentos) in Cyro
