Gilliamtherogue has an in-depth build video that isn't about ganking, though it's mostly focused on PVE. There was a good long discussion at the beginning of this patch about PVP light armor magblade builds. Some good theorycrafting there. Heavy armor destro/resto magblade is still quite powerful as well; the standard setup is Clever Alchemist + Spinner's + various monster sets. Kena's build video is still a great build.

Necro is great for magblades, and Amber Plasm is a really strong set. I think that magblades have the least need for Amber Plasm (thanks to Siphoning Attacks), but it's definitely not bad. But why not run 2 Kena (or 2 something else)? You can have
- 2 monster head and shoulders
- 3 jewelry and 1 body piece Necro
- 4 body Amber (etc.)
- 1 Amber (etc.) staff
- 1 Necro staff
This would allow you to run 5-5-2, with one set complete on each bar.

Siphoning Attacks doesnt grant that great sustain in PvP, because a lot of attacks are dodged by our enemies. I think Magblade won't suffer from sustain set in pvp.

But then your 5th piece bonuses won't be active on both bars.

It depends on the bonus. Necro's bonus wouldn't be active on both bars, but spell/weapon damage increase sets like BSW, Clever Alchemist, etc. maintain their buff when you proc it on one bar and swap to another. That's the way I prefer to build and I've gotten used to it. But you don't have to build that way if something else works better for you.

What would you think about like 5 necro, 4 Rattlecage (Jewelry and Staff) then 2 skoria? Or maybe some other 4 piece bonus from another set

I think you'd be better off going necro/willpower/monster set/maelstrom weapons if you have them, otherwise any sharpened staff. I'm no pro magblade or anything, but willpower is still a very strong 3 piece in PvP and combined with necro you'd have very high max mag. If you don't have vMA weapons it would really be a big deal either since you'd just run poisons on them.
