Why do PS+ players get a bigger discount? Crowns sale price is 27.99 but with PS+ membership it's 23.99. Is the sale price 27.99 for Xbox and PC players or is it 23.99? This is more out of curiosity. I'm a plus member but a friend isn't and he paid $4 more.

    I know for the free trial you don't need PS+, but to actually play the game beyond this week you DO. Right? Or did something change?

    Why would someone not have PS+ and be buying crowns? I mean sure if you're trying it for free, but if your committed to playing it to the point of buying crowns... You'll need PS+ to play....

    Looks like xbox is yet agian the worst platform to play on.

    ? Discounts are the same and rules are the same. Xbox live gold is $1 this week for a months worth and 30% - 67% off a lot of games and also discounts on some hardware

    Yeah man, the discount is $23.99 on Xbox as well, so I'm not really sure where you're getting that from...

    Wait, so the price on PS is artificially higher unless you have PS+ for an "extra" discount?

    PS4 is shared among the family. Only one account has to have PS+ on the PS4 in order all other accounts on that PS4 to play online. Unfortunately he's not the one that has PS+ so the crowns cost 27.99 and not 23.99. He is still able to play online cause main account has PS+

    Yes looks like you have to have PS+ in order to get the same discounted price as PC and Xbox at 23.99, otherwise it's 27.99

    @Cêltic421 Oooooh, yes. I actually knew that... but totally forgot. It's how I played ESO on PS4. My fiance has PS+ so I didn't need to.

    That's... a bit ridiculous. (crown price variations)

    It is 23,99 if you have xbox live gold subscription which basically everyone has who plays ESO because you cant play ESO without xbox live gold.

    Yes I agree. Ridiculous. I'd like to know why this is the case. Is it meant to be more without plus or is it an oversight?

    How odd. When ps+ account was linked to my son's psn account, I got the full discount when sales happened in the past.

    Changed things this year so linked to mine so can't test this time.

    Only need main account on a PS4 to have access to online play. Each account don't need a PS+ subscription.

    Was it actually a sub account, or just a separate second account? As I recall true sub accounts are just an extension of the account they're created under.
