Whoever came up with this anniversary event...

Seriously, reward me for doing things I already enjoy? A chance at Malacath, Trinimac, Order of the Hour, Minotaur, Assasins' League, Yokudan, Dragr, etc. in every daily plus a shot at an extra rare every single time? Hell to the yes! Even the "junk" Jubilee Boxes are nice, because I'm doing so many writs this week that an extra 10 Ruby Ash is a great thing to have.

I've seen one purple furniture schematic, a bunch of blues, a couple of purple recipes, and I'm filling in holes in motifs on all characters. I've gotten four Fortified Nirncrux and, just last night, my first Potent Nirncrux that I've gotten since One Tamriel dropped!

I've gotten into some really tight groups, gotten to learn the mechanics of efficiently doing dailies, and, best of all, made new friends.

If I can get close to completion on three sets of Malacath and two on Yokudan (altaholic), I'll start branching out to other dailies as well. There's still plenty of other dailies to do, and there's never been a better time to do them.

ZOS, you guys really knocked it out of the park on this one!

I agree, i was missing out on 15 new motives cause i left the game for 14 months and now i managed to buy around 120 pages relatively cheap so i feel like i caught up again, really cool

Its basically the same as the witch event.

But instead of boss mobs it's repeatable quests.

Not exactly rocket science, they didn't even add an achievement title this time.

Give credit where it's due. This event has been a very positive experience for myself and pretty much everyone I've spoken to. Take a cookie this time ZOS. You earned it.

The rewards are great so props to that but man do i hate dailies in MMOs.

Yes motifs in zone chat are super cheap rn filling out all those awesome sets I'll never be able to use bc drop sets are better. I'm still having a great time getting them though.

Same design just different loot. You got masks, title and a new motif instead.

Yeah I love this event, reminds me of the witch event. Giving players nice treats while they do the content they would normally do. SO much better than boring repetitive quests

I think the best kind of event would be to do a short quest, which would give the memento as a reward, and that would activate the drops from bosses or dailies + double exp. Then you don't have to grind out the same quests every day like a robot

I too am addicted to my shiney shiney boxes,

so many boxes, so many patterns/praxis (etc) so many motifs... my alts never used to care about learning motives. but now they are all learning them! LOL

But the amazing loot is the whole point. You can easily get hundreds of thousands worth of loot daily just from doing 6 writs on 8 characters. Add additional characters and additional dailies and it gets ridiculous. 10 additional in no time in the right Cyrodiil towns.

Plus I get to level my undaunted or other guilds at the same time by doing their dailies.

Event started to get a little painful without crafting bag so I subbed for 1 month. Now it is amazing. I just need to use banker assistant to get recipes, motifs, master writs, and maps to correct characters.

What is amazing is we are getting perfect roe and rare, high value motifs and recipes by doing the lowest level writs.

While motif prices may go down briefly, demand may increase after this as people want to complete sets they were previously ignoring.

No achievements, no cheezy event only motif, doesnt interfere with normal gaming, not having to *hop a ride* on guildies because your lowby hasnt been to the event locations....

This is how an event should run. I get the whole one tamriel theme in all of the other events, but we just had 2 back to back and setting this one up to be just rewards for being here on the 2nd anniversary makes it rock. Sure, you still have to do stuff. But it's stuff you were going to do already. It feels more like customer appreciation week than an event.

Translation... no grind.

Explain to me how these events even make sense? If anything this event just tells me that drop rates on EVERYTHING is far too low. Having grinded, bought, and sold motifs to try and find other ones for the past few months I know that the drop rates are ridiculously low for the players that actually attempt to farm them. In these couple weeks more players will complete motif collections, get more nirncrux, whatever could be anything, than those that likely tried to farm them in the previous two months. How do you justify that!??

Fix the drop rates normal play time Zeni...!!?

Why not have the undaunted chests drop this kind of stuff in addition to the shoulders?

Rather than them being shoulder boxes they become ACTUAL dungeon spoils.

It's the rewards. Crafting:

• Is all about "stuff".
• Is a huge part of what determines whether or not housing is fun.
• Has been much too grind-y.

This event accelerates us through some of the crafting grind. And the single most efficient way to take advantage is -- you guessed it! -- to craft.

Majority of the BiS gear is dropped not crafted...

Hopefully someday they allow master crafters to restyle items.
