Text chat not working (XboxOne)

I can see the chat on screen and sometimes I'm able to reply, but since the last patch more often than not, I'm unable too.

So I go into chat and have the options to choose the channel i want to text to and click in the chat box, but nothing happens.

I have tried relogging, but this makes no difference and have also tried to raise a ticket but am unable to enter any text.

This is intermittent as sometimes text chat works, but more often than not it doesn't.

Am i the only one suffering this or is it a known issue?

Wouldn't make a difference as you can't physically get into chat to write any text.

I had tweeted it to them so many times and nothing. I have been having this problem for about 5 days. Boss in fungal glitches the one on the rock, he suppose to jump down but he jumps up on the wooden platform so we don't get our drops.

I'm not a fan of text chat at all but I have the chatpad and getting in isn't a requirement as I hit enter on the chatpad and type. The virtual screen is something I wish we could turn off if a keyboard was connected due to how the chatpad works.
