ZOS cant fix "night capping." Night capping is generally performed because another faction's players are in a time zone that is their primetime. so whats night capping to you, is normal time for them.
How can you expect ZOS to address that? how would that be fair to Japanese players or Australian players?
It wouldnt be. so "night capping" isnt going anywhere.
IDEALLY cyrodiil would have enough players from all timezones to prevent "night capping" but the truth is: there just isnt.
and no that doesnt mean ESO PVP is dying. night capping has been complained about since the dawn of time for this game.
Title of the thread could use some work as you describe in your post; the real issue is getting full AP against limited resistance.
If they put the scoring in a similar calculation as AP where the more players attacking 1 person, the less AP they get; then that might help.
Still; I think the incentive to grab emp or scrolls setting the faction up with a big advantage would still be there.

I would just get rid of "night capping" and use "uncontested assaults" or something
-A possiable solution gourds are stronger the less keeps you have...for example last keep will have tough as hell guards .. This was done in DAOC ...
-Keeps are worth less the more you take... but not more the 50%
-Emp farming atleast 1 opposition must have 2 bars with 1 hour of capture complete circle capture....
-Further reduce the amount of player kill cp in a group more then 12... This is still tge #1 cause of PVP lag in the game (24-48 ball groups) 24man groups should not get the full 6k only 3k...they can fart the doors down...
-enhance relic keep guards.. and relic guards..I would like to place Generals in each of the keeps that drop items... this would be a boss level mob that is affected by the keeps resources...

Ofc they can fix nightcapping - simply by tying points awarded by a resource/keep scale with the number of enemy players in the campaign at the time it was taken.
Meaning if you nightcap a whole campaign with 2 1 1 pops the resources/keeps won yield any/very little points - whereas a resource or keep taken with a full campaign would give full points.
