Filling the Void BUGGED (Dark brotherhood)

So i believe this quest for the end of the dark brotherhood is bugged, as when you get through the catacombs to the end. You start to fight Primate Artorius and as soon as he stops time i can break free but the instance i do my game then freezes and wont load anything. I had to manually exit the game 3 times! and i come back in dead. Same thing is happening everytime. I went in with another player and the same is happening to them. Due to this bug i am now unable to finish the Dark Brotherhood questline. Please fix this asap!

iirc i had a similar issue last year with one char but 2 days i finished again (a month ago multi times with other chars) with no probs the quest with my new n/b toon

what platform are you on?ps4 here

I'm ok xbone me and my.partner were both there and cldnt get it both freezing so annoying

XBOX - same issue. game freezes up and needs to be completely rebooted. In looking at other reports, it appears to be video or audio in nature. It's obviously a bug. Results in death of the character and relocation to the beginning of the dungeon.
I'm giving up on the story line until a patch corrects the issue.

Xbox same as well, cannot finish the story. Hit him a few times and freeze.

Same here landed here from a frustrated google search after 3 times getting to boss have to restart game then appear outside dead its infuriating just want to finish it I took a break a few months at a time just started playing again don't really know why glitches and *** all over the place can't wait for tera to come to xbox

I had this same problem for three days on the Xbox one. Here is a possible solution that let me finish the quest.
As soon as the Primate comes out to attack, immediately look down at the floor and try to hide behind a pillar. If your not looking at the animation it seemed it wouldn't freeze the game for me. Try not to go too far backwards as that will just reset the Primate. Pretty much I just treated it like trial Maw, hopefully this works for you all that are still trying to complete this quest, or for those about to do so.

Hey I cldnt log on for a while but I did end up finishing this quest as I cldnt log on due to work. But being logged off for a while just seemed to fix it. Unsure how buy glad it did lol

I'm on Xbox and it let me do the quest I'm all done with dark brother hood now

Yeah, I went into first person, and tried to look down as fast as I could, but he ported on top of me, and locked up anyways. This is very difficult to do as an archer, since you really DO need to keep your eyes on the target. As a melee, I could stare at the floor all day, and still be pretty effective, but plunking arrows into a floor doesn't quite work.

havent done it with a stamNb and this was my only prob from last year so i gave it a shot with my new toon...
45 sec with a stamNb (for those who say it cant be done with)

Still having this problem, so infuriating the rest of it worked fine!
I will try not looking at them and see how I get on.

I have the same problem, can't complete this quest. But i found out that when you run in circles and press shift he can not freeze you in time. And when he freezes you you must slam that shift button.
