Anyone Else Doing All Writs, All the Time?

I have limited playtime, and I try to make the best use of it. I don't typically try to min/max my gear, but I generally try to do interesting PvE things as I can, with minimal waiting around.

With that said, I can't think of a better return on my time than anniversary boxes, so - for these two weeks - ESO is basically "Crafting Simulator" (TM). I even bought additional character slots and ran the newbies through the initial writ quests.

By the time I'm done with everyone, it's time to log and get back to the real world.

Is this true for anyone else?

    For me pretty much.

I wouldn't say it's fun but I am getting more motif pages than I otherwise would and that's helping to fill in a lot of blanks.

At the end of it I expect to be glad I did them.

I've been doing them every day since Homestead patch. They give gold materials very often, plus the master writ from time to time.

On the other chars, I only do Enchant Writs for a steady stream of Kuta :)

66 writs every day. I suppose this is the moment to thank that genius who has created lazy writ crafter. So thanks mate, you literally saved my life (time).

Nope, just 10 min, all 6 writs done and dusted for the day. The rest of the time are farming, dungeons, trials, crafting for other players, shoppings.

I do not completely understand what this addon does,,,, It just a countdown time timer for the next writ? How does it help with mats? Thanks for any info and a video of game play will be very helpful....

You can set the level of automation you want. At maximum automation, you walk up to the writ boards, it pulls off all the writs, you go to each station (except food and alchemy) and it crafts the items for you, then you go to turn in and it accepts the quests and loots the containers.

I usually do the Consumable Writs on all my characters, but for the event I'm doing the Equipment Writs too.

A tip for saving time: you can craft the things you need in advance, and the quests come in a pattern. So for example, you will only need Magicka, Stamina, and Health Glyphs for the Enchanting Writ so I usually craft about a week's worth of those at a time. Sometimes I'll do Equipment Writ pieces too if I'm not going to be using that character much, otherwise the loss of inventory space is too inconvenient.

Because the quests are slightly different, you can also usually put them off until the next day and still get a new quest that day (seems to depend on where the quest falls in the rotation - this trick doesn't work if Day 2's quest is the same as Day 1). So if you run short of time one day, you can grab the quests and save them for the next day.

It's doable it just takes some juggling.

I will note, I have all the bag space and bank upgrades on all of my characters (even the bank alts) and that helps.

I also have been mostly sticking with ONLY the Writs on all but two characters, so I'm not picking up junk from mobs. That helps a lot more; if I were doing Dolmen runs for the Fighter's Guild it would be worse.

Hey I do 12-30 a day, hoping I'll get more time to do all 48 with my account. I have no crafting bag nor does the other five active members of our 14 person guild. We all share mostly everything. Even gold and gold mats. The only mats I have in my own personal bank is the skin changer and hollowjack ones since those are harder to come by these days. But yeah writs are a breeze. Split the stack for what ever we need and drop the rest back in. Although the game itself can be glitchy. Once lost 100 okos not in bank inventory guild bank another guild bank or another character just completely vanished. Wasn't in the guild history log either. And just this very morning I tried to add 3,000 coins to the 45,000 in there and it took my money but bank stayed at 45K. Same thing not being anywhere or in the log. I submitted 2 tickets 1under lost crowns the other under lost items but I got no real reply yet and doubt I'll get it back. Even I had screenshots right before because I was worried it would happen when I pulling out and stacking tempering alloys. Anyway a little off topic but yeah mostly guild bank works well for additional mats.

I get off of work, eat some grub and log in.

    I run 6 writs on 6 toons.

I complete any master writs on my main crafter and give him all of the motifs and furniture diagrams

I put the duplicates up for sale

I log out and go to bed.

Rinse and repeat till the event is over. I'm 100% content with this as it is completing a TON of my missing motifs. It's also driving the price of many pages down to reasonable levels.

I do 120 writs a day(20 characters X 6 writs) and have so for 7 months straight. The rewards are awesome enough but now this birthday event is making them amazing. I'm making out like a bandit and this is the first event I feel like ZoS has catered to my overachiever play style and I'm so happy for it.

Lazy writ addon is a AMAZING. I have crafted all food needed for the writs to keep in bank and with this addon 6 writs takes around 3 minutes to complete max. been doing em on all 8 chars since this event started, usually i just do writs on my main crafter. today im gonna buy extra characterslots and certify them all. Motifs dropping regularly and frequently, and with the prices dropping like a stone i expect to have them all at the end of this event.

I am just doing the blacksmithing writs to get the Ebony armor book and needed supplies for my main character so that I can finally use my favorite armor in the Elder Scrolls games. Other than that I don't do too many tried looking to buy theme but they are 600 000 plus to get and don't have that kinda gold laying around to line another's pocket.

I'm doing all 6 writs on 3 characters now. If the event wasn't going on, I'd only be doing them on 2. I don't have that add-on, so it's taking forever with only 3 characters. (Didn't even know about that add-on until this moment ....)

I'll confess. I did a one month sub just to get all my mats stored away. I've been doing 8x6 writs and a lot of Cyrodiil dailies.

The Lazy writ addon makes it quick and easy.

Because you're still controlling your character. You aren't leaving your character at any time. It just makes doing the writs faster.

After 4 days 10 crafters my main has most of the motifs only missing a few. 60 writs takes me about an hour to do then a few dailies like hews bane Gold Coast craglorn mage fighter guild normal dungeon that I solo and my gaming day is done.

I'm really enjoying this event bc most these motifs I would have to pay a lot for or farm trials. It's a win win plus motif prices are dropping like crazy! It's a win win for me
