Many players have expressed a dislike for the animation of this ability since the last eso live. Having the bugs show up for less than a second and then immediately disintegrate is just lame, terrible animation.
I would like to put forward a suggestion on how it might be adjusted to make more sense:
-upon cast, the first 1 second shows the shalks burrowing up from underground. This keeps the delayed effect the devs are basing the warden on.
-at 2 seconds, the shalks pulse fire or lightning or poison based on the morph, dealing 33% of the current damage and applying any related debuffs.
-3 seconds later you get a second pulse for 33% damage (total duration: 5 seconds)
-another 3 seconds later you get a final third pulse for 33% damage (total duration 8 seconds)
-then a final 1-2 second animation shows the shalks burrowing back into the ground, rather than just disintegrating.
This makes it feel more like you're summoning the shalks and then letting them go, rather than whatever spirit conjuration causes them to disintegrate immediately. It also turns it from a single burst into a roughly 9 second area damage over time, which in turn meshes well with abilities like elemental blockade, ice shards, or volley.
