Buff trackers.


Sole reason why, after years of struggling to get ability IDs, going through the hassel of setting up the buff trackers on ur screen with addons, they finally added something that should of been in game since day 1.


Also maybe the warden too, depends if they put it behind a pay wall. (Pay to win)

    Right... because going to a website, typing in FTC, clicking on DOWNLOAD and just pasting it into the ESO folder that says addons "is a hassel."

    I think you might be disappointed with how little they offer compared to the add-ons though OP.

    They're going to be nice, but they're most likely going to not have as much utility as the player made ones.

    Agreed, this should have been an option day one. I cannot think of one MMO I have ever played that didn't display buffs.

    If they don't have a way to filter what buffs you wanna see, I'm gonna feel sorry for you guys. Before I added filters for buff tracking I had my buffs going off the screen in trials.

    From the position of an MMO, an expansion (chapter, whatever they're calling it) IS part of the game. Think of it like ESO is now $60 to start playing again, a cheap less than $20 copy of the non-expansion game and a $40 copy of Morrowind.

    You're not going to find much ground calling something in an expansion P2W. :p

    Meh. I'm going to be an unhappy camper in U14. My MagDK is already basically unsustainable without really good group support. Next update, with the devs removing Magician, she's going to be pretty much unplayable.

    It's extremely likely that Wardens are going to be the strongest class from the moment of release to boost Morrowind sales, then they'll nerf them either reasonably or absolutely a few months later.

    I thought he was an console player until he complained that installing mods was hard.
    my primary is the action bar reminder who show that is up, this is very nice and easy to read especially as healer where you have lots of long term hot, buff and debuff and no strict rotation, it also show back bar status.

    stendarr is secondary, i mostly use it to check if food is up :)
    combat metric to show my dps and let me analyze on dummy.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.

    The expansion and its content, including Warden, is not P2W.

    Anyway, I'm not going to roll a Warden right away. At release, there will be too many people running around with that bear and a garden of mushrooms in both PvP and alliance capitals. I'll wait until the fad wears off and then theorycraft a decent build.

    Making WOW obvious P2W, as it tend to raise dps 2-3X every expansions.

    Compare to Morrowind, the only benefit is the BoP the trial sets
    All overland and crafted set can be bought.

    Just getting access to the class isnt pay to win. Only way itd be that way is if the class was somehow way overpowered and better than the other four.

    How is it pay to win? If you don't buy the expansion/DLC than you don't get access to the new content. It's been that way since the first MMO. The addition to the warden class comes with Morrowind expansion not the base game. You don't even need a warden to "win".

    Watch the last eso live on bethesdas twitch channel, the only reason that jack of all trades didn't die multiple times against nothing more than trash mobs was because they had an immortality cheat on, they said as much on the blood show :D

    It's not pay to win, its pay to play a great zone but a useless class B)

    This was the biggest fail in whole thread, what part of anything did I say made you think I implied at all buff trackers are pay to win....


    I can't emphasize enough Warden being put under a pay wall is pay to win. Does this deserve a new thread?

    Is this guy serious? Do you even know what p2w means? It started in free mmorpgs but in order to speed things up and upgrade your character you had to constantly dish out cash. So normally upgrading would take 30 days, but if you pay a fee you can do it in 1 second. How dumb are you? What mmo doesnt have paid expansions? And eventuAlly they add a new class that is part of an expansion. Every game ever has paid expansions. God you are so *** dumb, your 13 years old aren't you?
