By your resoning
Base game is p2w since you need to buy the disc
Dlc and all their content/ gear( lorkaj gear anyone)are p2w
Morrowind and all the content/gear inside is p2w
Warden is pw2 even if he is given for free with morrowind
Keep in mind if they really wanted it to be p2w it would have been dold separatly for 5k1 -

If you're saying it's P2W just because you have to buy the expansion to have it available to you, well you have to buy the game to have the first classes available. Feel free to exit stage left if you feel that strongly against it. As far as I know, most if not all games introduce new classes, races, etc with PAID FOR expansions. By your thinking, everything is P2W.1 -

How is it pay to win? If you don't buy the expansion/DLC than you don't get access to the new content. It's been that way since the first MMO. The addition to the warden class comes with Morrowind expansion not the base game. This argument I refuted many times over. I wont bump this thread again, might as well lock it but here's how it is.
Just because you put out a new class during an expansion does not make that new class non-p2w. Just because you dont directly and only buy a class, doesn't mean it's not P2W since it's behind expansion wall.
If you believe every expansion justifies P2W, then how about they make warden super OP. Will it be P2W then? Thought so.

✭✭✭✭✭Funny how OP keeps harping on Warden being P2W (which it is not), but neglects all the comments about his belief that 'setting up buff trackers on addons is a hassle'. Just WOW. Perhaps if a person doesn't understand how a PC works they shouldn't be playing on a PC, because every buff tracker addon I've used has been super easy to setup and most are account wide so all you have to do is set them up once and they're good to go for all your characters.

Every virtually every MMO puts a new class behind a paywall.
Okay sure the warden will be OP at first but then it will get nerfed. Besides, playing a character well does take skill regardless of how op its considered, you can have all the op crap in the world but still get your ass handed too you by someone better than you purely because they understand your class and their own better than you do.Ah, e-communities - the "pinnacle" of the internet............yeah, right.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Calling the warden "pay to win" is kind of dumb. They HAD to make a new character class paid content, because if they didn't, people would get it with a subscription, spend four months (or a year) on the character, then let their subscription lapse accidentally, forgetting they'd lose the warden if that happened, then they'd scream bloody murder because the character they've been playing for the past four months just disappeared. If they make wardens paid content and ONLY paid content, they won't have to deal with the screams from players losing their characters because a sub lapsed.
It's the same reason that player houses can only go into areas that are paid content exclusively.0 -
