Group Finder in ESO NEED's much more to it than just Dungeon and War

There is no way to look for groups for group quests, dolmens, group delves, world bosses, trials or just getting together to farm stuff. i have so many of these I want to do but finding a group with chat sucks crap big time.

They need to add more looking for group options in the group finder.

Here is what the list should.

Dungeon Finder
Group Delve Finder
Trials Finder
Quest Group Finder
Miscellaneous Group Finder.
Alliance War
PVP Battlegrounds

Now the Quest finder (example: LFM Quest The Shattered Stone, LFM Daily quests, LFM holiday quests) Or just want to party up with someone doing quests.

Miscellaneous the person starting the group would be able to type the name of what they are looking for. (example: LFM Dolmens, LFM World Bosses, LFM Leather Farming, Skyshard and, lore book group and fishing parties. Arena groups and LF someone for dueling.

I have so many Group quests to get done (Like all those in Craglorn) and sometimes takes hours to find them. Same with those group delves. And NO I see many like my self that can not solo many of those.

I'm not sure it needs all that, but "LF Shada's Tear Group" would be something I'd like to see.

Dungeon Finder- what we have now and is needed
Group Delve Finder- you can solo these
Trials Finder- I'd like this, but at 160 min
Quest Group Finder - Why? The base game is so easy
Miscellaneous Group Finder - Again, why?
Alliance War - Yeah this would be nice
PVP Battlegrounds - Are they not implementing this?

Not a trials finder. If there is one, limit it to normal only and there has to be higher cp minimum.

Delve finder are you serious. That is single player content.

What is a miscellaneous group finder.

Quest group finder? How would you match up with someone doing teh same quests? Are you gonna do one quest and be like "peace I'm out"

ARE YOU SERIOUS!?

GROUP Delve Finder. Can you not read! (GROUP) Not everyone can solo them. Not all are 300+ and I've seen even 500+ get killed fast.

Miscellaneous group finder: For those looking for groups for Dolmens, World Bosses, Duels, Role playing and farming things like skyshards, lorebooks and fishing..

Quest group finder: There are Group quests that not everyone can solo, Dailies you can group up for, not to mention this is an MMORPG some of us like to group up with others to do quests.

GROUP DELVE FINDER. Can you NOT read!

The ones in craglorn? Those are still easily done by one person. They revamped the whole place so it doesn't need 2 people anymore.

Quest and miscellaneous in my opinion would be useful. It's just a section where the group leader puts you in the group finder, sets a name for what you're farming in that particular group and others can now search for a group in the list of groups they might like to join.

If that makes sense haha....

Basically you want to set up a group to farm say, leather from senches in a particular area. You type in Leather Farm Group as the name and now others who wish to join send the leader an invite request through the group finder list.

It would actually help a lot with finding groups for things that aren't as popular, but still are a lot of people wanting to do them.

Skyshard groups, lore book, fishing parties, etc etc...

In my opinion, it shouldn't be an automatic group finder. Think of it kind of like a message board, or Destiny LFG. What you do is post a Group in a new, In game, window. Name it whatever you want, I.E: World Bosses. any player who right clicks and joins group on your post will automatically join your group. You can constrain how many people join your group, as well as being able to constrain how (many/low) of a certain (role/CP) is allowed to join your group. All groups are visible to players and can be searched and filtered. Players can also save Group formats for easy reuse and so they can easily place themselves back into the group list if they kick/lose a member.

This way all players can easily see and post groups. rather than having to deal with a wonky automatic grouping system.

This is basically what I was talking about, you just explained it a lot better haha

Look at World of Warcraft's Looking for Group tool. Its almost perfect. You can almost always find a group for what you're looking for. ESO needs something like that.

This sounds pretty cool.

As far as the random group finding tool goes, most of the additions mentioned seem excessive. But I like this idea in addition to the random tool.

Edit: Of course after posting, I saw others above say basically the same.

I saw an idea in the first year ESO was out. The group finder should be completely replaced. Instead of having the group finder do the work for us, why not let us do the work?

The group finder would be a list of all the groups looking for more, which can be filtered by whichever kind of activity they're doing. This can range from daily Pledges, group questing, dungeon farms, PvP (and Battlegrounds), ect. The group leader can specify in the "Ad" what type of requirements, roles, and how many they're needing, ect.

Those looking for a group would open up this group finder, filter to whatever they're wanting to do, and be shown the list of groups that they could join. If they believe they meet the requirements, they can click to join group.

Obviously there can be complications such as the person joining the group really can't pull the DPS the group lead is wanting, or they really don't have any experience in the content the group is doing. There would be more positives from it, such as getting the groups you need more often than with the current group finder, less chat spam, ect.

I believe Guild Wars 2 has something like this and probably others.

It needs more?.. It doesn't even work half the time as is and you think it needs more? Maybe they should fix what they got before they even think about adding more to it.
