Hello ESO support forum. I've already searched the knowledge base and the forum, and have not found an answer to my question.

The problem:
Ever since the last patch, about 4/3/2017, both my 64-bit and 32-bit clients are having a serious resolution issue. I first noticed that the window was a lot smaller, and then I also noticed that it wouldn't let me change my resolution, although that part was normal. Here is the weird part: the ESO client says that I am running it in 1680x1050, which is what it was set at before. However, I took a screenshot of the game through the Windows 10 game capture and the resolution was actually at 1308x652, which is obviously why I thought it was so much smaller.

I tried to put the game into fullscreen mode to see if I could play that way, and the first setting is a blurry, stretched out fullscreen of probably the 1308x652 client from before. I then change the resolution to 1920x1080 and the screen goes black for about 15 seconds and then my whole computer crashes and restarts.
Personally, I only care about the Windowed mode, because that is how I play video games. If I could get the resolution back to 1680x1050, I would be happy.
As soon as I had this problem occur, I updated my Nvidia graphic drivers and the problem still occurred.

My system:
Sager NP7282 "desktop-replacement" laptop.
Intel i7 990x
24GB of DDR3 RAM
Quadro 5010m GPU
500gbx2 SSD in Raid 0
Windows 10 x64 professional
Newest Nvidia driver, 378.66

Attached is the Windows 10 game capture screenshot.

Thank you so much for reading my post!

What's your desktop resolution for a start, and check the UserSettings.txt file in Documents for Elder Scrolls for the resolution info it's set to there. You can change it there also.

You can change your screen settings by following the process below:

1.Locate the file "UserSettings.txt" in your My Documents/Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited folder.
2.Find the following lines and change the values to the ones below.

    SET FULLSCREEN_v4 "0"
    SET FullscreenHeight "0"
    SET FullscreenWidth "0"
    SET WindowedHeight "600"
    SET WindowedWidth "800"

3.This will set your game to 600x800 in windowed mode. You will be able to drag the corner to expand the window.

    My desktop resolution is 1920x1080.
Thank you both of you for your perfect answers. I have no clue why the patch messed up my resolution, but it was an easy fix.

    Btw, to ZOS_PeterT, my UserSettings.txt has a "SET FULLSCREEN_v5 "0"" in it, and not a "SET FULLSCREEN_v4 "0"."
Everything is working as it used to.

    Thank you!

This doesn't work for me. I have it set to 1904x1012 and instead of taking up the entire desktop space except the task bar area, it is about ten pixels smaller on both height and width.

Setting it to 800x600 works, but resizing it to its old window size from there just doesn't keep the setting when I restart the game.

@ZOS_PeterT Know anything that might explain this behavior?

It's supposed to look like this:

And what I get instead is this:
