Master writs

Since the anniversary event started, I don't know if it's just me but I have not got a master writ in 2 days. I have 9 characters that craft at max level. And usually out of all of them I get at least 2-3 a day and since the cake event started I have received not one? Is it just me or is this just crap rng as usual?

RNG as normal.

I've had nothing for a week and a bit and since this event started got one or two every day.

I just don't get it I literally have every trait learned every motif in game EVERY. I don't see people posting them in area chat either like usual so I am wondering if they disappeared with anniversary event.

There was a thread recently (lost it so can't link sorry) where someone did a months writs with a max character vs a newbie character and they both ended up very close to getting the same number of master writs.

It seems you're better using a whole accounts worth of characters to do writs with than having one with everything unlocked.

If you're on PC there is an add-on called "lazy writ" which makes it much faster (crafts everything for you).

Unfortunately I am an Xbox client and 2 I do writs max level on 9 characters....

Yep, Just more people doing the crafting dailies for the extra box.

Just said the same thing to my guildmates. Not a single master writ since the Anniversary started, and I got them regularly. I was just going to post something on this. Thanks for bringing it up. I'm not nuts. Would seem ZOS screwed up the drops, as they said you would get all of your normal drops from whatever daily or weekly you do in addition to the Anniversary Boxes. I would like to hear from more people if this is the same for them.

FYI: I do 6 writs on one character (Level 50 with all points in) and 4 on 3 others (all Level 50 in each craft). So, I do 18 writs per day on Level 50 crafting.

I guess no one else is having issues. I think I have gotten one master writ in the past week since Anniversary, and it was for 2 vouchers. I used to get them fairly frequently, and often for more vouchers. I still think they did something to the drop rate.

I have noticed that I'm getting much fewer master writs since the event too. However, I'm having good luck with motifs from the anniversary boxes.

Last week, including when the event was running, was by far my most profitable week for master writs since Homestead launched. I ended up clearing 500+ writ vouchers.

This week my RNG has been terrible, maybe 20-30 so far.

I think it's just RNG.
