Eso Anniversary Event

Since there is often a lot of criticism on this forum, I have to say that: this event is by far the best event since I'm playing ESO (about a year and a half).
The drop rate of interesting stuff from the anniversary boxes is really nice, i'm getting a lot of interesting stuff (including some rare motifs) and the fact that anniversary boxes can be obtained from any repeatable quest let players free to do what they like, and to receive boxes in many different ways.

I agree. It's a nice change and it keeps the interest up. We've been quite spoiled these last several weeks with all the on going and different events. Well said OP!

I missed the first two events so the Jester's Festival was my first, it was good and I enjoyed it but it lost any goals pretty fast.

This event I like because I can do what I mostly do (dailies, play whatever I feel like) and still feel like I am taking part in the event.

Yea but those are old motifs which everyone should have learnt all by now.
The new ones still don't drop from these gift boxes, silken ring and Mazzatun, ebony.

yeah but also as old motifs, like ancient orc etc, their average prce before event wast 50-90k depending on which part is

now parts worth before 90k cant sell for this price, they are selling just for 50-60k if you want to sell it

EDIT: and funny info from my friend, few day before he spent around 2 mils to complete every other missing motif, now as he see new prices he is loss more than 500k for this if he will know to wait with buying those motifs until this event

Well, same goes for the price of paintings, I paid 50k to get all 12 paintings at first week, 2nd week paintings only sell 10k, now 5k, lol.

Now any rare motifs I only sell for 15k max, it might drop further. But hey, they are free gifts from ZOS.

Yeah i like this event alot aswell.
it covers up all sides and all kind of players gets to enjoy it/get rewarded.
more similar events will be amazing and much welcomed

with paintings it was just matter of time how it is chance to get from every chest and item limit in houses atc and not every p;ayer with use tons of paintigs in house, same with every motif, ons tart it can cost to 100k but after few days its droping to 70k, 50k etc but thos emotifs today whicha are droping from event boxex had stable price since months and now it drastically fall down

From your perspective this is bad.
From my perspective (as I am at the moment trying to learn motifs, and I still miss a lot of them) this is extremely good, because I will be able to learn a lot of motif at a cheaper price.

This is what an "event" should be about, isn't it? Giving something special, for a limited period of time (a reward, higher drop chance, unusual mats, rare motifs, you name it) to players, in order to reward them for being part of the game and celebrate the anniversary.

To me this looks perfectly fine, and I'm very happy about that

for me its lowering prices of mats, motifs recpies for people who just farming it fo gold, now they will get less gold for farm this because of this event

I agree with @mandricus .

None of my Chars PvP, so it came as a nice surprise to receive Cyrodiil rare style mats in some of the boxes I opened.

I have probably collected more Epic Furnishing Designs in these last few days than in the whole time since Homestead was launched. I am happy.
