Writ Delivery Locations

My partner was running low level writs tonight and noticed something, but am unsure if it is a change (not documented in patch notes) or a glitch. Her AD-alliance character could deliver tier 1 writs to the docks in Glenumbra (DC-zone)!

@ZOS_GinaBruno Can we please have confirmation if this is working as intended? Are low level writs no longer bound to only being deliverable in your own alliance zone?

I believe that you can turn in writs to any zone which meets the level requirement, not specifically your own factions zones.

Apparently you now can. I do not believe it has always been this way however.

It has been this way at least since the new life festival (January) because I was pleasantly surprised to be able to take any faction to the easiest writ locations for their level.

I just wish the level requirement were removed as well so we could turn in any writ anywhere at all.
#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.

I would have guessed it was a change for One Tamriel? It would make sense to have people turn things in over the entire world.

If only we could turn in our writs anywhere.

Cool - I didn't know that! I do wish we could just turn them in anywhere, but being able to pick my favorite writ locations is great.

Alright, cool, thanks! If it's been several months then it must be WAI as there's no comment from ZOS. We just stumbled upon the realization last night, I'm sure it wasn't described in patch notes or I'd have updated my site with that info sooner. That sure does make delivery a slight bit more convenient!

I don't recall seeing that in the patch notes either. I also don't recall seeing anything about dropping the character level and story progress requirements for obtaining top tier writs. I only just discovered it a couple nights ago that any character at craft level 50 with all tier points allocated can do top tier writs without having progressed to the Hollow City and be Level 50.

I quickly respecced my alts who have level 50 in a craft so they could do the top tier writs. It paid off yesterday, as one of my alts supplied me with a MW worth 81 vouchers! I also got two others from my alts - a 9 voucher enchanting writ and a 5 voucher alchemy writ.

Actually, I've had a level 6 alt in Coldharbour doing writs for a year or more. For the Coldharbour ones they just need to be able to get to the Hollow City (teleport to friend/guildie) and complete that (non-combative) quest where you walk around with the Groundskeeper. And they still need to do that quest; it throws off a lot of folks why they still get lower level writs/rewards after putting that point in, and that's why.

However, not always been able to do Belkarth writ deliveries though, my low character level / high crafting level characters were stuck in Hollow City and those opened those up with One Tamriel.
