CoD trolls

We need more control over this, or a way shorter timer.

It's become a fad for people to message me on my WTS in zone claiming they want to buy something, only to let it sit in the CoD until it times out. I started telling people that I will only do in-person trades, but it makes some people suspicious because word is going around that there is a macro or something to swap things out in the trade window super quick, and everyone's worried about getting scammed.

Please fix this. I do a lot of deals through person-to-person trade and I am tired of giving control of my stuff away to clowns like this.

When I was a young teenager, i had been playing LOTRO (They have a CoD too). There were these keys that people always bought from mass looters that could unlock a specific event chest. At the time, I was in possession of one. I had decided to sell the key for 10 gold, which was average. They are 120 now :P but anyways, this guy in world chat told me he'd buy it for 20 GOLD, twice the value.

I thought it was a troll, but decided to give them a chance. There were a lot of high levels in the game that literally had thousands to throw away, so I sent it to him. An entire hour goes by, and I ask in zone chat why the guy didn't buy it. His response was "I'm sorry, I must have lost it in the Brandywine river, it's probably at the bottom now." No intention of ever buying it. Like I said, I was 13.

That pissed me off a lot. So much in fact, that I threatened to hack his account and DDoS his sorry ass. Turns out saying that in front of 10,000 people viewing chat logs was not a good idea. Though I suspect it was an admin who was patrolling at the time, which eventually I found out through the 7 day (A WEEK for FIRST OFFENCE) ban she gave me. (I knew players wouldn't have reported me for that, considering every single person had my exact feelings)

At that point, I started sending tickets to Turbine. First one was apologetic, then they *** on that one. So I sent 5 more, hateful tickets containing a plethora of cancer words. They increased the ban duration each time.

And that's why I was permanently banned from Lord of the Rings Online, because the troll had placed his hook into my time bomb of a mouth.

Honestly..ESO's community in my opinion is the cure for cancer. Much better than most other games.

If you actually read it, then you'd see that I had already taken blame because I was a hormonal short-fuse teenager. And yes, it was the troll's fault. I bet you're one of those trolls, since the only way you could make a reply is by antagonizing the protagonist.

If you purposefully troll on someone who you know clearly has a bad and short temper, it is most definitely your fault for pushing it.

Of course! Silly me! I mean you clearly said you were perma-banned because a troll placed a 'hook' in your face. How could I have read this as anything other than you accepting the consequences of your actions? I have a reading comprehension problem.

So if you're saying this, then why did you even post that last comment in the first place? I accepted the consequences, but it was also the troll to blame. If you're one of those "take 100% responsibility for something you didn't start" people, then get out.
