Is it worth using to avoid having to slot evil hunter? Looking into it for a stamina sorceror, bar space is a bit tight.
PS4 / NA
M'asad - Khajiit Nightblade - Healer
Pakhet - Khajiit Dragonknight - Tank
Raksha - Khajiit Sorcerer - Stamina DPS
Bastet - Khajiit Templar - Healer
Leonin - Khajiit Warden - Tank

It can be if you have an ability you think you can maintain upkeep time on, and need the slot. Just remember evil hunter (and morphs) increase weapon damage by 3% when slotted :)

    Its certainly not meta.

It gives you as much crit as leviathan and 100 weapon damage so if you don't have the major savagery buff somewhere in your build it will outperform leviathan.

It's a garbage set. In addition to Major Savagery, slotting Camouflaged Hunter gives you +3% weapon damage from the Slayer class passive or, if you are a DK you can slot Flames of Oblivion for the same buff and a fireball every few seconds - damage actually scales on maximum stamina and weapon damage too. Same goes for treasure hunter, which is even more terrible. Who in the right mind would drop Inner Light from their bar to lose 7% maximum magicka - 5% from skill and 2% from magicka controller passive - and 2% magicka recovery - from the same passive? To save storage space I deconned all the sets that gave bonuses attainable trough slotting and using skills or potions: Toothrow, Threasure Hunter, Medusa, Dreugh King Slayer, Rattlecage.

I just created a Stam Sorc and will definitely be slotting Toothrow so that I don't have to use evil hunter or expensive potions on non-competitive content, like pledges and world bosses. Bound Armaments on both bars is just too good to give up.

Yea this was my line of thinking but I forgot about the fighters guild damage bonus.

Also was thinking about the Medusa set for major force so I can avoid trap beast but it's in the same predicament.

Unless you mean for other characters, Medusa would actually be pretty bad for Stam Sorc, since it has Max Health, max magicka, and spell damage as the other set bonuses.

Leviathan only gives 7% crit on the five piece but you can stack it with major savagery. Reading it again, you explain this, so you are correct.

To the op, I have been running the set on my stam sorc, it is okay but I do not pull the same numbers that my stam temp and stam NB do using betters sets, ie draugur and spriggans respectively. Not sure if that is the sets or me just not understanding the rotation on a stamsorc.
