If the other top-tier ESO properties are anything to go by expect around a $100 starting price, Crown Store only. Also expect most folks to laugh at the price, criticisms to be levelled at ZOS' price gouging, and a few folks defend it with their lives (taking any criticism of ZOS' pricing as a personal insult, for some reason).

It's been announced in this month's Crown Store Showcase.

And apparently it's a "limited" item, available only between April 27th to May 1st.

I am livid that it's limited, tbh. It only means it's going to be expensive as hell, not around for long, and will likely end up in Crown Crates later down the line.

Well all of your characters will have access to it. But, you are right it may be expensive as hell, but it is a private volcanic island resort.

What worries me is that ZOS will think that just because people are willing to pay x amount, they should raise prices of new items so they can maximize their profits from price gouging addicted players. That is not cool in my book. But then again, we crossed that bridge with the crown crates.

I seriously hope they rethink raising prices just because some people are willing to pay for it. But then again if there is a demand for these and people are willing to pay, then ZOS may 86 their business ethics when pricing these.

It's pretty impressive how much resources they put into that crown store, creating content that is only available for 5 days etc.

86 their business ethics? No, they are a business and should sell at whatever price generates the most profit. If they find that they make the most selling high, they will. If they find there is more profit in a lower price and higher volume, they will do that. This isn't some life saving medication that the government gives them a set time copyright on so there is no competition. It is a game. They could set it at 100,000 crowns if they wanted. Would probably only sell 2 or 3, but they could do that. If future prices come down, then we get a small bit of insight into the price elasticity.
