Cheating, Exploiting and Overpopulation.

With the recent post from Zenimax stating that they want our help to keep PvP fair, competitive and funny I wanted to share what I know, what I saw and if Zenimax needs proofs, screenshots or even audios I can provide them or make sure people provides them.

Let me explain it, I play on PS4 EU, we have currently 2 playable campaigns, Haderus and Thornblade, both those campaigns have one alliance dominating it and they are called the Ebonheart Pact, this alliance have been dominating the 80% of the campaigns since this game have been released on PS4 EU, you may think well they are good or just organized or just smart, well they are everything but that, all the best players of PS4 EU are currently on AD and DC, while few, very few of them of the best EP players are still playing on EP and trying to do smallscale or solo most of them have left the game or switched alliance because EP is a dictature and if you don't follow what they ask you, you will get bullied until you never comeback in your EP character and if they don't bully you but you don't like running in zergs of more than 400 players (yes, 400 they do raid nights with a full guild of active players in PvP) you will just switch alliance or start doing duels.

This alliance have guilds that recruits new players or players that are getting into PvP and they FORCE them to wear a specific set, specific CP's setup and to slot specific skills and if they don't do it they will get kicked from their guild, they will get insulted and they send them a message telling them that they will make sure you never become emp.

They force them to wear reactive armor, malubeth, tank setups, full heals setups and to be immortals, they slot specific skills, skills that are slotted to use them against solo players to root them, immobilize them and run them out of resource, because I forgot it, they give them poisons for free they teach them to use poisons and they make them use poisons on each weapon slot.

If what your read for you is nothing, well, I'm not even done yet so this is nothing yes.

EP are usually pop locked on both campaigns in the weekend and pop locked in only one campaign during the week but they still manage to dominate both because they still have 2 bars on the other campaign even in the week while the other alliances don't even have 1 bar or struggle to keep 1 bar full.

An EP player that is considered one of the most hated players in PS4 EU (He enjoy insulting everyone and all the guilds from PS4 EU hate him because of it) got emperor, both alliances attacked their keep for 6 hours, the best players and guilds were there to dethrone him because like I said no one like him and they didn't stopped for not even 10 minutes but hey couldn't do anything, they forced players to join PvP or they will get kicked to defend him, that day I never saw such a big amount of players in my whole ESO career, never, they had like 300 players on each side because AD and DC were attacking at the same time that keep from different sides, after hours and hours of fighting zergs of tanks and healers (none of them was a DD, they don't group you if you are a DD, they mostly use siege weapons to deal damage this may sounds ridiculous and disgusting but yes, is completely true.)

This EP player account share with his brother so they can defend their keeps h24, I have proofs in videos and screenshots, yes, he was that smart to tell me in private message that he wasn't him playing and that it was his brother, but we don't stop here, here comes the biggest toxic exploit I've never seen.

They try to crash the server, you heard right, they found a way somehow that I won't explain here because I don't want every platform to start doing it but I will definetely explain it to any Zenimax employee if they're going to ban them, they all stack together in the same position and start doing a combinations of skills and emotes to create a BIG lag on their last keep to avoid both alliance to have a chance to fight against them, all that while account sharing and zerging everyone with their overpopulation.

I'm currently not playing PvP a lot anymore because I don't enjoy it as much as I used to, as someone who loves going solo or to do smallscale Cyrodiil is not a good place for me and I write this for all the people that have to deal with them everyday, for all the people that are tired of dealing with cheaters and people who need to exploit to keep a tittle on a video game.

I will ask you 3 things Zenimax, please make them true but not for me because like I said PvP is not for me anymore, I will still play for few friends of mine but once BG's gets released I won't play in Cyrodiil anymore, but for all the people that will still playing in Cyrodiil do it, please, do it.

1.Add a limit of players per alliance that can join a campaign
2.More rewards for Alliances that are underpopulated to encourage people to play that alliance
3.Ban cheaters and exploiters for months if not years, because few days is not enough.

Thank you for reading.

I have said it before, and it is still the #1 reason I do not PVP and have no interest in PVP:

The biggest problem with PVP is the mindset of the type of players it attracts.

Friendly, sportsmanlike competition is one thing. People that OBSESS over it as a part of their sense of self worth are just no fun to be around, because they will go to any extreme, even completely ruining the game, just to pretend their exploits make them "winners."

It is sad, and frustrating, and I want absolutely no part of it.

ZOS could fix it by hiring some GM's but meh. Crown Crates.

The EP permazerg is getting rediculous on that server. I got bored of it as an AD player so decided to take up fishing. Have almost completed the fishing achievement :). Still more fun than Pvp atm
I normally play in thornblade :)

You're clearly not familiar with Panth's laws for the EP population on PS4 EU PvP:

    1. Anywhere than can be zerged, will be zerged
    2. The thinking 'let's go hit Brindle, EP won't be there' is always wrong.
    3. There will always be 2 heavy armour, reactive, BoL spamming healers per player in the EP zerg
    4. Every third player in EP will have a name that either:
    - References drug use
    - Begins and ends with 'Xx...xX'
    - Misspells the word 'angel'

    Disclaimer:
The above is all lighthearted, so please don't get salty!

In all seriousness, though - there definitely is a population issue. The entire mindless AD Zerg can just about match the number of EP defending BRK... Whilst there are still enough reds to swarm through Bleakers onto DC and keep control of every IC district.

    Very nice argument.

But I have proofs, and any player from EU PS4 knows I'm completely right and if you search further in the forums you will find a loooooot of threads talking about EP overpopulation. ;)

I want to say that AD also have big numbers, not as many not even close, but they do have big numbers, the alliance that worries me the most and that I don't even fight anymore is DC, they have sometimes in prime time 1 bar while the others alliances are full or almost full and this needs to change or atleast increase their rewards by a lot because they clearly deserve it.

I'm someone who used to play all 3 alliances, now I only play on AD and DC because there's no point at all playing as an EP right now, so I'm not an alliance warrior I just want Cyrodiil to be fair and competitive and this overpopulation situation is not helping.

As an EP in Thornblade, I can say that:

I've never heard about this guild that tells us what to wear and bullies us. Most of our zone chat is LFGs and I can only recall one time where someone has invited people to their guild through it.

AD zergs the hardest (at least to us, anyway).

AD have have the most Templar Tanks.

Is definitely not in zonechat that they will say such things.

"AD have have the most Templar Tanks." I can't agree on that, AD have the most Nightblades but definitely not Templars, if you play in PS4 EU as an EP in Thornblade you definitely know that this is not true at all, sometimes EP have zergs of only Templars.

"AD zergs the hardest (at least to us, anyway)." For you, I invite you to make a DC or AD character and play against EP, you will see that their zergs are ridiculous compared to EP zergs that are crowded of heavy armors tanks who spam heals, AD have so much casuals that when I'm on my AD I feel like PvP is completely different because I don't face such potatoes anymore.

But I can agree that AD used to zergs the most about 1 month ago, after the double AP event a lot of old EP players started playing again and now EP is as zergy as it was in Summer 2016, remember? 3 Pop locked and 5 Campaigns under control? Yeah that was EP.

    very cool behavior right there...

personally, i do not see the fun in trying to pvdoor everyone else :(

It is not a coincidence PvE is far more popular then PvP in ESO. Most people are in it to relax, not to raise their blood pressure.

hmm. let me count how many accounts i have reported only at the location Vivec's Antlers in Stonefalls...77 accounts. in under 1 month. i also tracked down this location from seeing 2 accounts with similar names in a trade guild, each listing 30 stacks of rubedo hide scraps a day. some times more than once a day. i found out what they are doing is using roughly 6 to 8 accounts per person. all online at once. the people are constantly and instantly switching accounts. all are camped between 2 mob pull locations. and when i was in a group there i found out no damage is required to get loot of Dreugh. so each account is getting multiple amounts of kills. as far as i read in patch notes we need to do 3%+ damage to get loot. instant fix needed right there to immediately stop this location from so many cheaters. and roughly only a 60 second respawn time. another major reason they stay there. going further i see listings like this from the same accounts in almost any major city. almost always 1 trader has a massive rubedo hide scraps seller. a few other items are listed by these accounts but in marginaly smaller amounts. and to see 1 of the accounts has the word "Bot" as part of their account name. jeez. i feel like im able to catch more cheaters then the people in charge. even with what little resources i have to use

then there is the much more obvious bot trains. lately ive noticed Shadowfen has almost always got 1 or more bot trains rolling. one even said "let all the botters in the world rejoice and hold hands". and again. 1 account has the word "bot" in it. they also have the thought they wont get caught. as more than one has said. 3 months roughly one train i have seen be there for, from when i first saw them.

cheaters need to go and we need confidence back that they can be reduced to what they were before housing patch dropped imo. for 2 years i had never seen and/or noticed a single one. there will always be cheaters. the numbers now are in my words, incredible. i literally cant sell items they get due to the prices. very different selling method is required compared to all other items in the game to even get them to sell. at MM price i get absolutely zero sales

for the last month i have been borderline considering if i do spend, or not spend lots or little more real money on this game. purely only because of all these cheaters and exploiters.
