First, Im one of those people who wants to play everything and learn the game on my own. I dont want to run in and search for the optimal builds and skip everything including know why that's the optimal build. I want to get the good gear and craft some of my own. I want to grab achievements and have fun within the game the way I have always done in ES. (I own them all including the SEs and Enderall) But seriously... some of this could be streamlined. Running the same quest/raid/whatever over and over in the hopes of possibly/maybe/on the off chance I get what Im looking for or spending a year to get research completed... BORING! Waiting around for groups when I could be playing... BORING! And new content isnt going to change that.
The grind of this game is ridiculous. Im a die hard ES fan. Always have been and always will be. But the grind of this game has me looking at my PC and asking... Do I really want to waste my time? Do I really enjoy this any more?
And it's getting to the point where I just shut down TESO and play the other ES games or go hang with friends in games Im not really into.
So... Unless I can figure out how to change the entire gaming ownership's point of view that say the player lives for the grind. Im going to remain bored. Yes... I realize that Im probably a singular voice. But then... maybe not.

Dont get me started on the ridiculousness of the voucher system and the RNG reward of writs instead of making a housing writ board.

This is an MMO, not a single player game, even ZOS has said that their biggest challenge has been getting ES players to understand that ESO is NOT like previous ES games.

@jaye63
To me there is never, I mean never a dull moment in TESO. I first usually make sure I did all my writs that I can when I go on. All 6 craftings for more chances to get a master writ. Once that is done I do the random normal daily. I would do vet but it gives similar rewards for the queue but vet takes 10x longer with general pug groups. Besides normals are funner because you get to teach new players the boss mechanics and what to do. Just yesterday in elden hollow 2 or fungal grotto 2 (I always get those 2 places mixed up) I was teaching a group the parts where the lady with spiderlings to kite away the spiderlings if you are marked and to only focus on her. Then the part when you finish the second to last boss and have to run past all the ghost assassins and jump into the sewer river to fight the final boss at the entrance. Anyways a little off topic but after that, I can go skyshard hunting lorebook and when I am done with skills for a bit or done with lv10 mages guild I can go up my fighters guild with the zombies at Vile Lab in coldharbour or even at dolmens. Can also work on main quests, Cadwells gold, silver. After alll that you can look for designs, blueprints or any of that to decorate your house. If you havent a house yet you can farm coins many many different ways. I even had prosperous purple julianos gear just for that fun purpose. After that you can always PVP in Cyrodiil try out new sets by farming monster helms/undaunted keys. And sometimes its just fun to hang out and chat with people like play the /lute, /flute, /drum. And if you all got the quest reward that turns you all into goblins well that just makes it more fun!
Just what I am trying to say is have fun! No matter what you do, who you meet, or where you are going, enjoy the game. Instead of looking up things and guides its okay too just ask in /z chat. Sure there are many jokesters but there are sincere players out there too that genuinely want to help out! So do not fear to chat it up!

Not their biggest challenge but their biggest mistake.
Those previous ES games were all blockbuster successes. ESO, not so much.
Our biggest challenge has been getting ZO to understand that ESO should be more like previous ES games.

Pretty much this.
OP's post isn't relatable and I don't agree. Stop crying.
Even though it runs like crap, this is still the best ES game ever made and one of the best MMOs in the market.
