Cannot create character

Is anyone else not able to create a character?

I tried different character combinations and races, but the game just exits the character name box after entering a name and goes back to class/race/faction customization screen.

    Just tried - still happening. Two of my friends can't make new characters either; the names never take and it bounces us right back to the customization menus.
    "I haven't really played much yet, but lemme tell you all about how the game should include X and be a lot more like Y!" - Half the posters on this forum.
    "I've been here for years, and lemme tell you all about how they should never change or evolve Z, because then the game would be ruined forever." - The other half of posters on this forum.

    I've been having this problem for 2 days. I get to the point where I submit a name and it says validating and then goes back to the customization. I just put in a ticket for it.

    It's because the 1st character letter is in caps. Make it all small case and exit. Don't confirm go back in and make it caps and it'll work.
