Searching for Motifs in Guild Store.. How to:

Umm..

Is there an easy way to search for Crafting Motifs in guild stores?

I use awesome guild store addon for PC... yet.. I must be an idiot. Cause I still find it hard to search for motifs.


Any help?

I find it pretty easy with awesome guild store.

Make sure to select consumable -> motif.

Type in one word that relates to the type of motif, for example: "Order" for Order of the Hour.

Filter for only unknown.

That should be all you need to do to find specific motif styles.

Reverb

Within AGS, select the 'Consumables' category at the top, then the 'Motifs' subcategory. You can then use the keyword search at the right to define the specific one you want, or select the unknown motifs filter (just under the keyword box) to browse for all unknown motifs.

Also, make sure you start your searches in a prime location, like Mournhold for example. This will help you make sure you have your filters correct. May have to go to page 5ish or higher before you start seeing the ones you need, though.

There are motifs that look like a "Book" and some that look like a "Page/sheet of paper"

Whats the difference??

And inside one particular motif... Example.. Crafting Motif 8: Ore Style .. How many motifs are contained?

like.. I see "Pages" Crafting Motif 31..... Has Swords.. and Staves.. etc etc.

I have to get each one with Motif 31 ?? How many... 2, 3, 5, 10??

Typically, the blue motifs look like a book, and contain all types in them, but some gold books are the whole motif too, like Ebony and Imperial and Glass can have an entire book...but glass usually comes in pages...it's rare indeed to get the whole gold book on creation...

...the purple pages are one item (typically), and iirc, there's 14 items per motif
