How many weapons does your main use?

Probably the wrong forum - soz. But yeah how many weapons can your main use and do you switch between them? My main is a s+b/dw temp but I'd really like to be able to use a restore staff. Is it viable?

I don't think you need a restoration staff anymore, I believe they gave all classes healing abilities atleast for solo play. If you aren't a pure healer for dungeons / trials i'd just stick to dps / tank weapons

All weapon lines trained. Regularly swap in and out gear for 4 different lines (sword and board, dual wield, destro/resto).

Main is currently a full blown healer, so resto staff and destro staff. But is max level in dual wielding and level 25 in two handed.

I use DW and bow for dungeons, and swap in a 2H in place of DW when out questing. Once I get the 2H ulti morphed, I'm going to work on SnB, but I'm already somewhere around level 10 without ever equipping a shield.

I train 1H+S and 2W on all chars, though I mostly spec just the useful passives on magicka builds. Stamina builds have complete 2W tree and what they are lacking as class skill from 1H+S (ex invasion makes no sense on StamNB)
I fully train and spec restoration and destruction staff on magicka builds
I fully train and spec bow and 2H on stamina builds

Magplar healer here. Either destr staff & resto staff or two resto staves. If she needs to get a bit 'tanky' she uses Annulment (light armor) and Channel Focus (templar).

My main has been Bow and 2h for almost the whole time. I tried Dual wield and then realised I wasn't actually using any of the DW abilities.

My secondary can switch between S&B and inferno staff thier normal set up.. into dual wield or resto staff.

My third I haven't decided on S&B 2x or S&B + Ice or S&B + resto but they aren't 50 yet.

All of my characters only use 2 weapons at the moment (or 3 if you want to count dual wield/sword & board as 2 weapons) but I may train up others in future if I find myself with spare skill points.

My two early mains have all weapon skills maxed, but only use DW/Bow or Destro

My other mains usually have Destro and Restro maxed, and sometimes work on other skills. But I see no need to invest the points as Hybrids are not a thing right now.

I don't have a main as such, but one of my characters is a nightblade who uses a bow plus dual-wield daggers and regularly switches between them. The rest use a single weapon class in practice although they do have a second weapon type equipped in some cases. I don't do PvP or competitive PvE but play solo/co-operative PvE. I keep meaning to check out different single-weapon specs on both hotbars but forget to do so as I really haven't found it necessary.

Two. A Maelstrom's Inferno Staff for the primary, and a Maelstrom's Lightning Staff as my secondary. Although the in past, I used to use: A Maelstrom's Ice Staff for the primary, and crafted restoration staff for the secondary.

I also have about 15 full sets of armor and weapons that can be used by my mains.

Awesome! I think that might be beyond me as I have alchemy and blacksmithing maxed. I might lose blacksmithing (was only for writs) so we"ll see

My magblade uses destro/resto
My magplar uses S+B/S+B when tanking and destroy/resto when healing.
My magsorc uses destroy/resto
My mag DK uses S+B/S+B when tanking and destroy/destroy when DPS.
My stam DK currently is using DW and 2h, but she is trained in S+B as well. I'm just leveling the final skills
My stamblade uses bow and DW
My stam sorc currently has 2H, Bow and DW.

My main (and mostly my only character, as I don't use so much the others) use a resto staff and DW. He used a destro before, but I prefer DW.

I generally have one set of weapons for each character or character type once they hit max level. I train lots of other things, but I rarely use them.

That's:

• Dual destro for sorcerers. (But they do carry resto staffs, and occasionally equip them.)
• Destro/resto for templars.
• Bow/DW for stamina DPSers.

I train lots of other things for options, especially 1H/S, but then don't use them.

I commonly level magicka characters with destro/resto.

When the game was young, and mixing stamina & magicka made more sense, I leveled with some combinations I won't mention now.

I also leveled some with bow/2H, but can't think of any reason to favor it over bow/DW for leveling at this point in the game's evolution.
