The whole moon phase thing isn't true despite half the game's population falling for it.

Everyone says its full moon for about 1.5 real days (36 hours), this is not so.
I play in the evening UK time and when it got dark the moon in The Rift near the northern wayshire was at Waxing Gibbous (before full moon).
I wasn't going to wait another 4-5 game hours for it to become full moon so I decided to log on the next evening, literally 24 earth hours later.
To my annoyance it had gone past full moon in the early hours of UK time, and it was now on Waning Gibbous (after full moon).
Therefore Full moon does not last 1.5 real days. The fact that Waxing Gibbous to Waning Gibbous was 24 hours this makes the actual Full moon (between the two phases) more like 12 hours and just happens to be in early hours of the morning UK time, how convenient.
Any one else confirm this or has ZOS completely destroyed the lunar cycle with all their updates which (by the way) still don't fix the lag on this game which is now crap.
They have set spawn locations but the whole moon phase thing was a lie just like how people used to believe that not activating the pions at a dolmen would increase the chances of spawning a boss.JohnDoggett wrote: »TX12001rwb17_ESO wrote: »Vampires and Werewolves are not tied to the moon phases, they spawn at random.

Is the spawning locations random as well any advice on best place for EPact, The Rift?

If you're on PS4 NA, I've got a bite I could give ya - that way, you avoid waiting for the spawns at all

In that case - might I offer you the same advice that was given to me for getting a bite.
When logging out, park yourself at the shrine and just let the system log you out due to inactivity. Do this enough, and a charitable soul is more than likely going to run up and use their bite on you at some point.
That's how I got mine, so I've been paying the bite forward ever since
The moon phases thing wasn't necessarily a lie. It's very possible that it was indeed the case at launch in 2014, and was changed to cut down on spawn camping. The fact is though, whether it used to be related to the moon phases or not, it certainly isn't any more. (The Dolmen pinions thing was confirmed by ZOS as never true.)TX12001rwb17_ESO wrote: »They have set spawn locations but the whole moon phase thing was a lie just like how people used to believe that not activating the pions at a dolmen would increase the chances of spawning a boss.JohnDoggett wrote: »Is the spawning locations random as well any advice on best place for EPact, The Rift?TX12001rwb17_ESO wrote: »Vampires and Werewolves are not tied to the moon phases, they spawn at random.
