Weapon skill lines by Class

Do you think that the Weapon skill lines (especially Stamina - Two Handed, One Handed & Shield, Dual Wield, and Bow) should be different for each class? It would be interesting to have exclusive (active and passive) abilities, with themes of Dragonknight, Nightblade, Templar and Sorcerer.

No. If you do not like the class abilities; it is than time for generic weapon abilities.

It would be interesting but I don't think it would help game balance.

No. Besides the fact it would make balancing that much more of a challenge, it would also negate much of the beauty of the game.

It would also be awkward going from tanking on one character and S&B skills worked one way then move to another and skills do something totally different.

Besides, it is nice melding class abilities with the weapon abilities.

They should, indeed. Im hoping when they start to add more Weapons to the game, they overhaul the current system. Easy and cheap way to add more quality to the game. If they wanna make this to work, they gotta aim higher, aka increase the overall quality, when its possible.

ESO isnt about balance, thats THE beauty of the game. Sadly, Im not entirely sure if Zen gets it or no. They still try to be like all the rest MMOs out there and balance everything. Perfect balance doesnt make this any more succesful, that I can tell to you. Trion World was extremely skilled at balancing, but guess what, Rift failed.

I was not talking about each of the abilities (5 active and 1 ultimate, and 5 passive) being unique to each class. One or the other can be shared by all. Some others, on the other hand, may have the same effect, but they would have their name and visual altered.

In my opinion, it would be totally the opposite. Balancing would be best done this way. But ... By increasing the amount of abilities, ZOS would have a lot more work to do.

Some class skills are not enough to balance the stamina builds. That way, the weapon skills themselves would help that.

Two-Handed, Dual Wield and Bow would be the skill lines most affected by this change.

    Actually, Sorcs toss crystals.

Class skills for each class are visually unique.

Of course a bow is a bow and an inferno staff is an inferno staff regardless of which class wields it. Those skills should be unique to the weapon only.
