My personal favorite is sniping guild traders. By that I mean I find the best deal I can on very expensive items then resell them for a little bit higher of a price to make a great profit.

✭✭✭I know this sounds weird but I really love farming raw mats. It's supper relaxing I can grab a beer and talk to the guild while I make 100-200k an hour. Farming gear gets stressful and can be a waste of time if nothing good drops and flipping gear can make you huge profits but looking through all the guild traders for deals is a pain.

The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

I farm the raw mats in an hour I get 700+ ores 400 silks 300wood 100leather
About 6-10 temps=60-100k
4-6wax=20-30k
2-4rosin=10-20k
1-2 kata4-8k
20 each of the new housing mats
If I sell everything plus the refined mats plus any flowers and worms anywhere from 100-200k gold

Perhaps keep on eye on https://tamrieltradecentre.com and advertise in zone close to market value.
You can afford to sell a little cheaper as you have no guild trader expenses.
Trade guilds help and some accept donations if not sales but you get an idea of what things sell for and how well (and what to farm). A few addons to help out there too.

✭✭✭Making gold is horrible right now and almost impossible. Farming is complete dead as prices on mats have dropped to almost nothing. 6k for alloys? That's not worth my time to farm raw mats for.
EVERYTHING is BoP... I miss the days us trial people could actually make some decent money from doing trials and weeklys.
I have about 20 million left of my 50 million gold I was able to farm during the year of 2016. But as of right now I am not making anymore gold. Spacemonkey✭✭✭✭✭100-200k might be pushing it, but I also find that the most relaxing way to actively 'make cash' is to farm mats.
I have a few go-to zone/areas that are generally less populated. In between the mats, the chests I find, the thieves throves and joining in on any nearby boss/dolmen; I generally can make the equivalent of 20k+ an hour while chatting etc...0 -

Also lol, i know what and where to farm, but i never got materials worth 100-200K per hour. My question was more sarcastic.
As Spacemonkey wrote, 20K an hour is far more realistic, especially on PC.
