Furniture already ties in with crafting skill lines.
I am completely max out crafter... 9 traits, max out skill lines, know all the styles in game, etc. I do not remember seeing any mats from hirelings for furniture.
Also, can one decon furniture?

No, there is no need to decon it because in order to get any furniture (aside from the odd items you find stealing) you only can purchase or craft it. It's not like you're going to find a stockade or giblet fully crafted on the body of some random mob.

Not true!
For example, I made a table and a week later I decided that I do not like the said table. What should I do with the old one? NPC sell it? I rather decon it and get some of my mats back.
That when decon becomes important...
I agree with the alchemy hireling.
I would rather see a alchemy hireling instead.
Especially since poisons and spell power potions have now become so basic that it's almost mandatory for all content.

They compensated the lack of hirelings for alchemy as you can farm telvar and buy ingredient bundles

The Shadowy Supplier (DB passive) provides about what I would have expected from an alchemy hireling with one of her 3 options.
