Enlightenment at level 10

I've been talking to "customer support" for the past 3 days telling them that I did not receive the enlightenment bonus of "4.8 million" when I hit level 50.

They are telling me that no one receives 4.8 million when they reach level 50, they only receive 400,000.

I have talked to a ton of people that have said they received 4.8 million when they hit 50. I have read almost everywhere online that you do receive 4.8 million when you reach level 50.

2 of my friends INSTANTLY received 4.8 million enlightenment when they hit level 50. They did not logoff for 12 days. One of these people's character was only 3 days old and he received 4.8 million.

I've sent screenshots of this to customer support but it seems that they do not even read what I have typed out.



Does anyone else recall what "enlightenment bonus" they got once they reached champion level "level 50"?

Also, the 2 friends I mentioned hit level 50 for the first time when they received the 4.8 million.

I have ten max level characters and have never once received an enlightenment bonus for hitting level 50. whatever time it was when your first character hit level fifty is when you will receive your enlightenment bonus for your entire account.

Never got this bonus and I have 4 max levels. I think people are pulling your leg.

Wait, guys. I think OP is talking about enlightment bonus for 1st character, which, yes, everyone receives upon hitting 50 lvl (+10 cp) for the first time.

OP, don't trouble yourself just yet. I do not remember exact numbers, but you should get enough enlightment for it to be active until 100cp.

Play for a bit and watch. If your enlightment wouldn't run out until 100cp, then it's all good. Maybe some glitch in UI, or outdated numbers, or something.

If it would run out... Well. Yep. Some bug.

I don't remember if my main account on PC NA got the 12 day full enlightenment(4.8mil worth) on reaching 50 the first time.

I know my second account did. And I know my main account on EU did as well. I just thought it started saving the enlightenment when you first started playing and how long it took you to get to 50 determined what you got. And both those took well over 12 days to get to 50, as I didn't play on them often.

Newbie here Got to 50 lvl ~2 weeks before Homestead, so I can assure you, it totally is the case

You literally breeze to 100cp because of it and think OOOH POWER OVERWHELMING! But then yeah... Then you learn the real deal

So well. Unless they changed something with Homestead (and I don't remember any patch notes about it), OP totally should have received a ton of enlightment.

Dang, I never knew that sort of thing existed - certainly didn't when I was a young lad at level 50.

Any chance i can get my 4.8 mil of enlightenment now so I can progress another 5 champion points quickly (now on 757) ?

Just happens my third account had one character sitting at level 49, and the others all level 3. So I got it on video for any naysayers.

Keep in mind this only will happen for your first level 50. Enlightenment on all is shared, so once you get one level 50 character you get just 400k a day for the whole account. If you already had character(s) that were 50 you won't get this again.

Also the person who you mentioned that character was less than 3 days old... Character age wouldn't matter. How old is his account? I mean if he was sitting on any other character(s) that he never took to 50 for over 12 days, that would explain it.

If you are still in contact with support, you could include a link to the video proving at least some people are getting this. Although I'm not sure there is much they could do. They may not have the tools to adjust enlightenment.

Additional info - Both two other accounts were standard accounts, this third account in the video is a steam account. First account I got the 4.8m on EU server this year. Second account I got the 4.8m around a year ago. Third account obviously under an hour ago.

Hopefully that video will at least prove to them that you do get a bonus upon hitting level 50. Thank you very much for recording it.

When I was talking about the 3 day old character, I was explaining that it wouldn't be possible for him to not play for 12 days to gain the 4.8 enlightenment.

Also, this is not a UI bug, I still receive the 400k enlightenment everyday and it works fine. I've just never received the 4.8 bonus for my first level 50 character.

It wasn't clear to me reading thru this thread that the OP's question was answered, so I'm throwing in my two cents worth here...if this has been noted above, my apologies but I missed it.

When a player gets his/her first character to level 50, then the account receives an allotment of 4.8 million enlightenment points that will be utilized by all characters that reach level 50. This is a one-time allotment shared by all level 50 characters on the account. In addition, there is a daily 400k top-off applied to this same allotment, but the total will not go over 4.8 million. You receive the 400k at the time of day that your first character reached level 50.

Then the use is as follows. Your first character reaches level 50 at 12 noon. You immediately receive 4.8 million and it becomes the community pot of enlightenment. Character #1 then performs an activity that normally earns 25k of XP. Your character will then actually receive 100k of XP, and the enlightenment pot goes down to 4.7 million. Character #2 is not yet level 50, so any activities will earn XP at the normal rate, and the pot will not change. Charater #3 is at level 50, and performs an activity that earns 25k of XP. The character receives 100k of XP and the pot is now 4.6 million. The next day, at 11am, the pot is still 4.6 million. Character #4 is level 50 and earns 25k of XP, receives 100k of XP and the pot is now 4.5 million. It turns noon, and you receive your top-off which is maxed at 400k, but since your pot is 4.5 million, you only receive 300k, and the pot is back to 4.8 million. You then proceed through the day and activities on all level 50 characters earns 200k, and the characters receive 800k of XP. The pot is now 4 million even. You go to bed, and don't play the next day, but at 12 noon, your account gets the full 400k this time, and the pot is back up to 4.4 million. The following day, another 400k takes it back to 4.8 million....and on and on and on...

...until the jesters festival comes along, gives 2x XP, the quests give a very nice large amount of XP, and all of a sudden, after a few days, the quests aren't giving you as much XP as they were a couple days ago. Arrgh, I forgot to eat my pie...nope, I ate my pie...oh...I ran out of enlightenment, first time ever...<g>

OP you do get it but only for the first CP1 character (after 50).

Also if you are not playing on that character you will not see the enlightenment.

A single CP used to take 1-3 hours to grind.

That's right ONE CP would take around 3-5 hours of questing to get.

This complaint about losing a couple days worth of free daily CP is garbage.

It was my first level 50 character and my only character I play on.

And no it isn't garbage when everyone I know receives 5 million enlightenment and I don't? That's horse ***.

I get to sit there and grind slow as hell while everyone else is soaring past my level by 100.



But this whole post is pointless, customer support basically told me to go screw myself (even though I sent multiple screenshots and the video that someone posted in here). They didn't even acknowledge the video, acted like it wasn't even there. Can't get a straight answer out of them, all they do is beat around the bush. I spent 4 days talking to 20 different people in support, all of them basically told me I didn't know what I was talking about and that no one EVER gets 4.8 million enlightenment.

Made me laugh that they didn't even know about this..

Still have no clue how I "earned" it or what triggers the message. On one day, the message showed up after I had been playing for a couple of hours and on another, it didn't show up at all.

If it's a "shared" pot, then my main character doesn't receive it. I haven't seen the "enlightened" message on her account in months.

I'll have to pay attention with my current. She just hit 40 yesterday, and with the Jester's pie, she'll be at 50... two seconds ago.

Nothing will happen... You already have access to enligtenment. If you are out of it on your other characters you will be out of it on the new one too.
