But that's just me. Doing a simple search for stamina templar on Youtube will yield pretty interesting results. Make sure you filter by upload date and get a build that is geared towards the Homestead update.
Hey guys, I am coming back to eso and decided to create a new toon to play with. I want something with heavy armour that can still leash out some damage, and I'd like a 2 handed sword as my main weapon. I'm kind of thinking of something like Retribution Paladin on WoW (Yeah I know.. WoW...)
Any suggestions?
I'd like to be some-what viable in pvp and in pve ^_^

If you have a "paladin" in your mind, I'd suggest stamina Templar, heavy armor, two handed sword, weapon skills for the killing, and some templar passives to support your survivability and skills for the healing... slow and steady approach, mixing in many heavy attacks for resource control, and trusting in your armor to see you through tough fights... second bar you could either have bow for some range, or sword & board for when you feel tanky...
Races that do well with such a set up would be Nords and Orcs for extra toughness, or Redguards and Imperials for extra fightyness, though Khajiit and Dunmer can also make it work.
If you are less into "Paladin" and more into "Chaos Warrior", you might want to take a look at Dragonknight... the class also does very well with heavy armor, passive-wise, has nifty selfheals, and some good stamina morphs for bring some hurt to your enemies...
Sorcerors do less well in stamina veriant, though could still make it work. Nightblades in heavy armor though better be magica saptanks, stamina NBs should stick to medium armor and ganking methinks...
I guess ill go for a templar then! Was thinking to go for an Orc or Argonian. What do you suggest =]?

Argonian can still make it work, though they will always be a litte less "super-effective" in their damage output - they are tanky enough and the healing bonus will be nice for their survivability, meshes well with heavy armor... less effective then orcs, but still works nicely...
Stemplar for level grinding? Well, I would say levels are better done just playing through the story, you'll get all those quest skill points and skyshards, hit 50 near the end anyhow, and don't have to suffer through the mindnumbing boredom of grinding...
...
...but if you really want to... "Brawler" is something you will want to use a lot, AoE slash and damage shield? -Just- the thing to cut down massed mobs with. "Biting Jabs" used to be good for that too, but it was too good and got nerfed, so...
But the real problem heavy armor characters have with grinding is they cannot just burn down masses of mobs with AoE fireworks, because their resource regen isn't what medium armor stamina DPS characters enjoy. So its a bit slower going since they ought to add in more heavy attacks... but again two-handed comes to the win with the "forceful" spash damage.
So basically you will have to put a little more effort into grinding compared to a DPS character, but its a viable way.
I'd still suggest to just do the questing and have fun with that.
