Hello everyone!
So, I've recently given PvP a good go, and have thus far been really enjoying it; I've been using mainly a Dunmer Sorcerer build, and have got him to a point where he's fairly effective in both duels and Cyrodiil. However, one thing that really annoys me is the massive amount of CC that I seem to receive, and how I can only break free from Soft/Hard CC once, (given my low level of Stamina, which has been substituted to maximise Magicka) - in a lot of scenarios, I seem to be permanently disabled, without any means of countering it. Soft CC is alright, since I can, at least, spam the shields that I use and proc my Infernal Guardian set, (which usually serves as a deterrent), but Hard CC usually results in my destruction, and in both duelling and Cyrodiil, there seems to be so much of it - without Stamina to break free from it, I am often doomed by it. It really is a deal-breaker for me at the minute and has actually started turning me off the whole PvP element of the game, because I just feel powerless and that I cannot do anything against it - I find this incredibly frustrating.
Hence, I turn to you. I am certain that I'm doing something wrong, and I'd like to hear some advice of yours on how to effectively counter CC in PvP. I'd really like to re-kindle my enjoyment in PvP scenarios, and I'm wondering if, aside from potions, there are other ways for a Magicka-based build to resist CC. I hear that blocking and rolling works well, but generally my Stamina is depleted after one roll, and against certain abilities, (such as the Dragonknight immobilisation one, where claws come out of the ground), it seems impossible to block them; I also understand that CC immunity isn't applied once someone receives Soft CC, like Snares, and thus after breaking free from that, you can still receive a more detrimental stunning effect. In essence, how would you recommend countering CC in PvP for a Magicka-based build?
Many thanks in advance, and my apologies if this is a noob-esque or silly question!
