A friend of mine is looking to buy the best pc version of the game available to play right now. Does Morrowind® Digital Collector's Edition gives him acess to the game (core game) right now, or he will need to wait for Morrowind's launch to play?

    They've said that the versions that include the base game will have to wait until the release date to play.

    This. Unless they changed something, I read about a month back a new player that bought Morrowind for the base game and couldn't play until release. They were refunded and bought gold when it was $30.

    No versions on any platform will give you access to base ESO until Marrowind's release in June.
