What about Horsies !

Hi guys at Zos,

I believe you heard about how unpleasing was the horsing system ! 180 days of playable time or at least 60 day's without a break and a perfect time gestion in order to get a full mount ! I mean I'm not the kind of player to whine about those long term achievement you guys put out there (such as crafting) but still...

With a new class system coming up, there will be thousand of brand new character struggling to get anywhere because they have poor horsies. I understand that sells from horse system might be high but it's still a buzz killer. I won't go RP isn't on your side on this one even if I kind of believe it, system of bonus should be link to mounts you use instead of character you play but I'm willing to meet you half way.

As the new expansion is coming up, I'm pretty sure you know champion point are to be reconsider. Why not create account system champion point (overall, base on the amount of time you've been playing instead of how extensive you've been xp) and give player some special passive to pick from such as Master Horseriding, a bonus which, if you've a mount which is 60/60/60 on one of you characther makes all your newer characther start with 30/30/30. That would feel nice.

There could also be a bonus xp passive, once a day you can pop a 1 hour bonus xp for 25% more xp which stacks.

There could be a a special bonus going with crafting such as transform gear into any style you like, or convert traits of a piece of equipement once a week (maybe use a 100 crafting stone for that style and convert it into a special stone which can then be use to transform the traits).

Also there could be stuff with Housing, like unlock 30 new spot for any home which can also be upgraded.

I mean all those passive would be consider by player, and maybe some could convert existing Cp to unlock more of those like kill 50 of you cp and unlock one more account skill ?? that would be nice !

    ...not gonna happen.

They -are- selling crown store riding lessions, and thus they won't do anything to cut down riding training times, as to tempt those with more money to patience to pay for their new alts horse prowess.

Crown store experience scrolls. Need I repeat myself? ;)

Now that is something we really, really want, and have been talking about for ages here... a gear transmogrification system. Like, a new perk for crating skill lines that opens up at getting them to 50, withc then allows recrafting -any- existing gear (not like that useless "convert to imperial" function which does not work on set stuff and thus becomes worthless as soon as you get past non-set beginner gear) into new visuals on any crafting station... using resources and style materials, and with a destruction chance like temper improvements, that can be migrated by using more materials...

The perk -could- even have a second stage for changing traits (though I would expect -that- to need some super rare resource, something as easy to get like perfect roe perhaps, or sold in the crown store again...)

There could possibly even be a third stage to allow "level" improvements, so you don't have to throw away your painfully assembled and tempered favorite gear when they someday might rise the gear CP cap, but have a way to "upgrade" it to the new endgame rank... which of course would again require special super-rare materials which would be just as much of a effort to get then farming a completely new set of gear...

Will not happen unless ZOS finds a way to package it into the crown store or crown crates.

    Probably crown crates.

So you have to buy like $200 worth to get it to drop.

Already kind of in there. For those of us who have all our horses trained up, those lessons in the crown crates get banked.

I think the revamp of CP system is coming sooner then later, they know they need to tune down CP bonus since it's getting DPS unbelievebly high.

Best way to do that is lower the bonus from CP, tune down the bonus from damage tree to 15% instead of 25% for all the tree. Lower 15% bonus to 10% and thus make it harder. But in order to compensate for that they have to create Something else which will impact skill system, thus for example making everyone were protection since reduce damage is now only 15% and no longer 25%, stuff like that will help create a better environnement for the game in the long run and I think Zenimax knows it right now !

Horses aren't really pay to win. You aren't "struggling" to get anywhere with a slower horse. You will get there. Take a wayshrine if you have to. Just takes a bit longer.

Why do you expect to have a maxed out horse very quickly?

Nothing kills fun faster in this game than wanting to play an alt and having to deal with terrible mount speed, especially in PvP where it makes you 100% useless for two months and heavily gimped by potential permanent CC 2-4 months after that if someone hits you while riding. My hype to play Warden drops when I remember I won't be able to enjoy him at all in Cyrodiil. And I'm not buying scrolls because what you're asking for it and the value of what you get just makes me vomit in my mouth and I still have to save my money to buy new tables after you caused me to flip and break all of the tables in my house when I realized riding skill wasn't account bound.
