Good sets to run on a Vet PVP Mag Sorc?

Ok so I run Spinners and Lich in non-vet PVP and the sustain is amazing, especially because it lets me shield stack more easily. Should I add infernal guardian to the mix in vet or no? My issue with Inf Guardian is that it's easily dodged

There is a vet PvP.. what, where?! Is it a typo and you meant vet PvE, or am I missing something? Not that I care much for PvP. Ha ha

There are a number of options with varying strengths and weaknesses.

    Monstor sets:
    Grothdarr (for close combat)
Infernal Guardian (to keep opponents defensively moving)
Pirate Skeleton (for 30% damage mitigation proc that works on shields too)
    Engine Guardian (for extra resources)
    Iceheart (for more shield stacking)
Or just 1 or 2 max magicka pieces

    5-piece damage sets:
Burning Spell Weave (for more damage on proc)
    Julianos (for constant damage boost)
    Necropotence (for pet build)
Spinners (for more pen - good against heavy armor mainly)
    Clever Alchemist (for potion proc)

    5-piece sustain sets:
    Lich (mag regen boost)
    Seducer (-8% cost)

Fair enough. How would I get above 3k spell damage on this

The BSW route is high spell damage.

Well, you'll get more spell damage if you do 2 damage sets, but you lose a lot of sustain, so it's more of a burst playstyle. I run Burning Spell Weave and Necropotence with 1 Ilambris and will peak at around 3700 spell damage when my BSW and weapon damage glyph both proc. If you don't want to run any pets, you could try BSW and Spinners or Julianos if you feel like you can do without a sustain set or monster set.

Yeah that set is amazing to, especialy if youre struggling with no stamina for cc breaks. With sorc passive from summoning tree and this set your stam regen can reach 1,1-1,2k + it gives amazing mag regen and spell dmg. Imho its one of the best sets for PvP... But it has one major flaw when compared to lich. Amber plasm requires 5/5 items all the time, while lich can be swaped so you can use 2/5/5 sets even with staves. If you like to mist form a lot, you can consider using Desert Rose or Warlock (this can be swaped to). Also dont forget about Kagrenacs Hope which is also very nice set (this ressurection time buff is also very very useful).
    Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

Non vet pvp? Blackwater Blade? Do you mean you farmed full set of < lvl 50 Spinner's and Lich?o.o Or did you mean non cp?

Either way Spinner's+Lich is still a great combo in vet cp pvp. Some of good monster set options include Skeleton(reduces damage taken by your shields too, making you godmode tanky), EG(op but easily killable/interruptable) and I guess Infernal(haven't used that one).
