A disturbing trends is cropping up on the ESO forums, recently exacerbated by the addition of the Jester's Pie holiday item.
Specifically, a large amount of people have ganged together and agreed on the term
'momento' for said item, as well as its compariots in the category, even when the category in question spells out loud and clear
'memento'.
This is much more serious than you usual misspellings of 'Tameriel' or 'Cyrodil'. A memento has nothing to do with neither
momentum nor
moment.
It is a memento. Remember!
(coincidentally, memento translates directly from Latin as 'remember', that is, the imperative form of the verb 'to remember', for those who are partial to a small grammatical pun like that)
(and if anyone gets their knickers in a twist, I shall suggest reading this post in the holiday spirit of the Jester's Festival that it was intended, and have a nice Saturday regardless)
