For anyone having trouble with in game sound

Recently my in game sound was randomly muted. Tried hard restarting Xbox, closing app and restoring default audio and nothing fixed the problem.
Just before uninstalling the game and having to wait 7 hours to redownload I found the fix.
Go to my games and apps, hover over the game and press the start button, select "manage game", scroll down to "saved data", select "delete all".
This fixed the problem for me hopefully this helps anyone else having this issue after the most recent patch.
