What DD class should I level up during Jester XPx2?

So I'm pondering to make use of the double XP and level up my 8th char. I have a Templar healer, DK tank, and 5 DDs. I listed the three "missing" DD classes in the poll options.

What would in your opinion be the most fun/rewarding/interesting class to add? If you like, add a post with your thoughts on your choice!

Because that's what I play so it's obviously the best and most important option.

@Turelus, @Violynne: MagBlade master race, hm? Yeah a friend of mine plays one and it looks quite interesting.

@Dark_Aether: Can you elaborate on the "stamplar" part? Wouldn't a Dunmer be rather sub-optimal for a stam class?

@DRXHarbinger: Yeah I like my magDK too! As for the "cost+grind"... Yeah there's some truth to that. It just feels like a waste not making use of the double XP event. Right now my 8th char is a level 3 random-class random-race item carrier.

Your magplar healer can be DD, just simple swap gear and CP is all.
My high elf magplar does this.

Magblade is a blast, with lots of fun sustain and utility tools at it's disposal.

And, if you ever get tired of DD you can easily swap over to a sap tank which has some interesting options with the frost staff changes. It's lovely for soloing as well, if that sweetens the pot for you.

I "dislike" templars, so I would lvl a mNB. Dunmer is a fine choice for that.

Dunmer has racial bonus for both magicka and stamina unlike any other race, that way you can switch to either and still compete with min/maxing builds. But I guess that's more for someone like me who plays one character and wont pay for race change. If you want to min/max then go Altmer for magicka or Redguard/Orc for stam.

When Morrowind hits, only Magblades will still be able to easily maintain resources with full damage set loadouts. All other classes will have to make a sacrifice in some way to maintain enough resources. Nightblades are coming back!

But templars have Channeled Focus, that's like 480 free mag recovery. Sorcs will still be out of control with Dark Conversion. I think magdk will suffer the most.

No proper sorc is going to waste a ton of DPS to channel DC for resources. Not only that, there is no way to animation cancel it, so it leaves the sorc vulnerable to having its shields expire in that brief window of time.

A Templar standing in one spot (or close to it) for 18 seconds is not realistic, especially in vMoL. All of the vMoL bosses require some measure of mobility to avoid/complete mechanics. You may be able to get away with Channeled Focus occasionally in the Craglorn trials, but not vMoL.

Yeah that is a good point indeed. Right now I have four melee DDs and one ranged...

Okay, am I missing something? Why is Dunmer being suggested over Altmer for a MagBlade? Last I checked, Altmer are the true masters of the arcane arts... Unless of course you're making a MagDK. In which case you'd go Dunmer. >_>

No mention of sorc. Can't beat sorc IMHO. Incredible amounts of damage and you never die... in addition to that, its ranged

MagBlades deal Fire and Magic damage. The Dunmer's much larger boost to Fire damage outweighs the Altmer's extra 1% Magicka (which gives them a slight edge in the pure Magic damage abilities).

And it's not like a MagBlade needs the Altmer's recovery boost.
