PVP Hack? Freeze Opponants?

Is there some sort of hack now where you freeze opponents when you get within 10 feet of them? I can run around Cyrodil all day with a group of fellow factioners but approach an enemy and my screen freezes up when they get within 10 feet of my toon! I can't PVP like that!

    If you are a sorc it's the streak bug happens when I am near other players.
    Sorcerna, proud beta sorc. RIP April 2014 to May 31 2016 DArk Brotherhood. Out of retirement for negates and encases. Sorcerna will be going back into retirement to be my main crafter Fall 2018. Because an 8 k shield is f ing useless. Died because of baddies on the forum. Too much qq too little pew pew. 16 AD 2 DC. 0 EP cause they bad, CP 2300 plus 18 level 50 toons. NA, PC, Grey Host#SORCLIVESMATTER actually they don’t or they wouldn’t keep getting nerfed constantly.

    Are you kidding me? Yeah, it's lag spikes that go from 120 to 999+ and freeze the screen. Using any sort of Video capture would just add to that wouldn't it? As I said, It only happens when I'm near enemy players though. Never friendly players.

    How are we supposed to know what's going on. Provided very little detail in op. Not sure how it could be a hack if it happens every time you get near an enemy as it is extremely unlikely every enemy you face is cheating.

    Video capture shouldn't affect lag. You may have a little bit of FPS loss if you don't have a good specs tho.

    Disable shadows under your video settings.

    Ok, you want details. I run on an MSI DOminator with 24 Gigs of System Ram, 6 Gigs of onboard Video Ram with an NVidia 970M Geoforce and Intel Graphics cards. A 256 Gig SSD for my system drive and all my drivers are up to date.

    Well it's not every enemy I approach and because it happens I don't PVP a lot because of it. Obviously it's usually a Melee class because they have to be close to hit me and once they're on me my screen freezes and jerks.

    This isn't a hack, but it does sound like you're having other issues.

    Have you tried trouble shooting by changing graphics settings? And yes you have a great PC but that doesn't mean ESO is going to always play nice with it.

    I've never heard of a hack that does this but then I'm no expert on hacks .

    I've tried removing all addons. Dropping from high to low graphics. Doesn't seem to help.

    I believe this is a desync issue OP.

    I once mounted my horse, rode out of the castle, was riding up a hill ( quite a distance from the castle ). One second later blue screen. The combat log showed various skills being used. I never even saw a player or an animation.

    Apparently it happens from time to time.

    Try going to imperial city / kaiser stadt and then see if it still happens (small scale)

    When you meet enemy players, the game has to load in new particles. Might be why your screen freezes. Sometimes I struggle with FPS-drops when moving around, whether that's PvP or PvE-zones. Always happens when the game tries to load in new particles. Although, it seem to have gotten better this patch.

    Turn all settings to low & check if your shadows/grass are turned off. Sometimes they turn themselves on randomly.

    Here is a checklist:

    1: use only a few pvp addons. (master merchant and guildtools and ***, remove em all)
    2: Be sure to play in fullscreen mode not windowed
    3: dont have any programs/processes running in the background that aint needed for the game. (Close that internet Explorer crap)
    4: dont have mobilephones and other gadgets u dont need for playing Close to the computer/mouse
    5: uninstal game and get a life
